I finished my 2 year Diploma in Payroll, HR and Finance with Payroll Education (SETA aproved)

I am currently employed by Media24 in the Payroll Department as a payroll administrator where I have gain knowledge and understanding the protocol and procedures of Payroll. I am highly self motivated, reliable, honest and responsible person. I can work well under pressure within a team or by myself and have the ability to prioritize the work to meet the deadlines. I love helping and assist my colleagues wherever I can. I am not afraid to ask question and love to learn and a challenge .

Pros: I see myself in a more senior position - team leader
Cons: I do not want to work weekends - family time

I have been employed for 3 years at Media24 as a contact center agent and work with a great team

Providing efficient,effective and professional customer services Dealing daily with customer complaints and escalations i enjoy being around and working with them To listen to customers and be rewarded by a customer taking the time to say thank when you've provide a great service Making sure that delivery takes place within given times, eventhough being dependent on 3 rd parties or internal customers

Pros: The company is quite big and exposure to other divisions
Cons: in the division where i am currently in, isnt any further growth

I am willing to grow in any company

In the fast-growing economic environment Cherise sees herself as a responsible, dynamic, hardworking individual who can work in a team and individually. She will strive to uplift and maintain the image of the company at all times, and motivate her co-workers to do their best in performing their duties and obtain maximum results and profit. Cherise has knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. She has a spontaneous, loyal personality with good communication skills.

Pros: there is always new things to learn
Cons: there is not enough time in a day for me to spred my wings

Excellent learning curve and improvement

Receive a bank statement from the Supervisor Allocate payments accordingly Follow up on promised payments Calling clients for all the outstanding and overdues payment Attending to queries Sending Invoices / Statements Preparing for Journals Follow up on queries and doing recons Doing cashflow and reports Sending LOD 1/2 Preparing a handover files Assisting on behalf of your coworker Making sure we have open door policy amongst ourselves Sharing the same values with your coworkers Seeing that job satisfaction from your clients Having a good working relationship with you clients Sometimes the clients will let you down and you have to explain to your superiors

Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, efficient and professional, goal driven

Providing customers externally and internally with excellent customer services Ensuring delivery of customers newspapers and magazines Selling and maintaining subscriptions Admin, data capturing Investigating and resolving queries We are family so we work together and one another to make sure we finish our daily tasks The most challenging aspect is that we are not able to predict how the delivery can be impacted by accidents, poor road infrastructure, printer delays. that team work and working smartly and efficient makes facing an challenge

How other people respond to situations etc, is a reflection on them and not me.

A typical work day is very unpredictable as there are a number of challenges that arise within a day. The call volumes could shoot through the roof or the administration/ emails could. I have learnt to be flexible and open minded. I am aware that people respond differently to situations, this is based on life experiences. The most important this I've learnt is, the way people respond to me is hardly ever about me but about them.

Pros: Being stretched to capacity and learning to do fulfill multiple functions

Experiences in the working environment

I do believe that I am capable working in a team as well as individually. Our department is very deadline driven which as taught me how to prioritize and organize better. Our team works well together we do have our little disagreements at times but it never anything to big that can't be solved. A typical day at work would be requesting all outstanding invoices & statements, forwarding them for purchases orders, capturing, recons, filing, adhoc gt's. I have also mentored learners that worked with us on a temporary basis, which has taught me how to manage others well. Challenging aspects would be working with non-complying co-workers or suppliers as it is a full process in order to make payment.

Pros: Broadens your knowledge, provides alot of opportunities
Cons: Having to work with non-compliant co-workers & clients, changes being made without consulting all team members

I am a hard worker and learn quite fast. analytical

2 Good Day I hereby wish to apply for the advertised position. My experience started from July 1997 till March 2016 (due to retrenchment) at Media24 in the Call centre/Marketing department. I have worked and grew within the company.Customer service, Data capture and mostly admin, data extraction, bulk notificating via sms or email,cleaning of data etc. Travelling for to train and representative at events only in South Africa. Reporting, Updating web promotions etc. I have been a leave replacement at Imperial Logistics for 2 weeks in October 2016 doing the fillowing scanning docs, printing invoices, posting and courier documents to clients. Capturing invoice details. Filing and updating loads. Reconciliation of invoices before posting or courier to clients. Mostly excel. I've also done reception duties at PinewoodSA in Woodstock. Thanks Julia De Bruyn

Cons: working overtime and getting through backlogs. It was worth it

Wondeful working environment

Media24 is a wonderful work environment in which everyone is treated with respect and there is open communication with all Managers. Every employee is a team member and colleagues are always available to assist whenever there is need to. i learnt that you can only grow but taking those responsibilities which are challenging.

Pros: Great working and flexible times
Cons: systems challenges
