Constant engagement

The company I currently work for is very forward thinking, constantly seeking out ways to improve productivity via digital awareness, staying on board with the latest trends and encouraging employee participation. We have a highly interactive team which participates fully in strategic planning and also nurtures relationships outside the formal work environment. I have learnt a lot about digital media, the fast paced news environment of the internet and surviving turbulent market conditions. I most enjoy interaction, innovation and learning opportunities offered by the company. The challenging aspects of my job is currently staying relevant as a company in a very fluid market environment.

Excellent learning curve

Working at Media24 has allowed me to broader my spectrum of knowledge in the marketing field. From organizing photo shoots to running social media accounts, my internship has been a great experience and has got me even more eager to learn new things and expand my knowledge and abilities.

Broad learning curve

-Its really cool to work here, the culture is relaxed. -we work in a open plan office so everyone gets along with each other. - I have learnt along with SAP and Excel - I enjoy Month end when we have to drop payments on SAP and do all the journals. - When preparing payments for the drop.

Excellent working space

The Day to day running a of going to shoot videos out there and coming back into the office and editing. From there, the work flows to the digital editor who will approve and post on social media platforms.

-There is always a chance of learning something new, because trends are always revolving -By interviewing celebrities , ordinary to extra ordinary people i get to meet loads of people. -my colleagues are the most innovative people to be working with, our brainstorming sessions always makes my day. there we discuss the days news, latest gossip or anything that interest the public be it celebrity, local or international. -i love that we can work flexi hours

Pros: Meeting different sorts of people, everyday we get to experience new things, company just amazing
Cons: as the world revolves, so does the face of media, with everything going digital, the publishing world is getting smaller

A great company for juniors

big company,established company. A great trainiing ground for graduates and junior staff.lots to do. challenging. but salary is a challenge. also no bonus. rare performance bonus.

Good skill building

My first time working there I was overwhelmed by the work but as the time goes by I got hang of it. Meeting deadlines was not an easy task bug I managed quiet well and I am thankful for the experienced I got because I was working fog a national paper. Print for me is my passion and I love telling people'stories it gives me a relief when I have help someone through my articles.

Cons: No immediate growth
