Pearson Institute of Higher Education Reviews

Excellent learning curve.

Diversity in roles. Poor working conditions. Disappointing incentives. Lack of trust in the organisation. Poor managers. Too much favouritism : some employees undervalued while others are overvalued. Nepotism.

Pros: High potential to succeed of processes are followed.
Cons: Too much reliance on one person to fulfill too many roles. Too much cost saving. Employees not valued.

Technology enhanced learning

I am a course developer and spend a lot of time developing curriculum and learning activities enhanced by technology. It takes years of experience to develop this skill. Classes are the easy part, there's so much going on behind the scenes that people don't know about. One of the difficulties is the entitlement of some students who believe that because their fees are paid, their education should be 'given' to them.

Pros: Making a difference, academic holidays
Cons: Always working
