Working at pick n pay is good as I meet new sa nd different characters at our store and on a normal day I meet customers who have bad mood and its how good to know when they come back the next day thanking us the staff as a team.

Every Day with God is a learning experience

I'm a team player, Responsible and reliable, There are not a word as a problem only day to day challenges.Customers is the base line of any business, so show them respect and treat them with dignity.I am a person that resolves issues and have no gray area.I'm a happy person and enjoy the day to day life.I love working with people because it's a day to day leaning curve.

Excellent

It was nice I enjoyed my job everyday my relationship with my coworkers was very good .I learned to much more to my work getting more experience.more challenges is working over time but i did enjoy

Brilliant place to grow

Tough industry. Must be willing to put in the hours. Great place to be. Get certificates. Go for training. Great to work in a team. Overall,must be patient.

Good learning experience

Best retail experience strong customer service providing. Very lower wages to keep the employees. You must know rightful people to get promotion. There is still nepotism going on within the company. Not always rightful people for the rightful position. Thats why i looking foward to find another fair company with better salary offer.

Its time for New Challenges

I enjoy keeping busy and chasing targets within keeping in budgets. I enjoy challenges and finding ways to get around obstacles this was always a challenge. I had good working relationships with all my co-workers and directors.

Pros: great working enviroment
Cons: Left home at 4.30am every morning and only got home at +- 11.00pm at night rarely saw my children

No

The growth of employees at the company had change dramatically. It's benefits in growth aren't, as big as the cost of living in today life. The amount of work given to the some position are huge but the money that covers the work load is not reasonable . The company is still excellent company but growth is not as excellent as, back in the pasts years. I understand that time has change and changes is good to,but it does not have to turn in to a direction that it forgets it employees. It seems that they want a firm environment, that only focus on the business only. There is no inspiration given to employees, so there's no enthusiasts from employees. So there are no good conections between staff. The most important assets to a company is its employees, which makes its foundation.
