I have a good costumer service and have been in the nominees for best employee of the month Working at pick n pay brought a great experience on how to be a leader and a costumer care in all the times and Costumer is the heart of the business cause without then we are not going anywhere

Good experience anytime
Working at pick n pay is good as I meet new sa nd different characters at our store and on a normal day I meet customers who have bad mood and its how good to know when they come back the next day thanking us the staff as a team.

Excellent learning curve
i have a good relationship with my workers. i have learnt how to work with customers and be patient. i had a few tests also that taught me about what i do. when i get home i am tired as hell because i am on my 2 legs most of the day so thats really tiring. what i enjoy most is the 2 days i get off every week that really is fantastic. the most challenging aspect of my work i would say is talking infront of all my staff members.

Learning curve
Long working hours and short lunch and tea breaks. Every month end you query about salary and unpaid over time. Promotion is only for some people who r not doing nothing

Working underpresser and team work.
I think I'm good for this position because I'm self driven and know how work with different people of different character,and a team work who can work underpresser.

Life lessons in the work place
my job hardly requires personal input. its black and white. I mostly work with people who have not worked anywhere else so their view of life is very narrow. a typical day includes counting stock, going to the cash office to balance the float safe and being on the frontline to interact with customers. i enjoy working on the computer and teaching my staff more about inventory. challenges include a lot of unnecessary pressure due to bad communication from the powers that be. i also do not enjoy the rigidness and routine but then again it is retail.

Good learning experience
Best retail experience strong customer service providing. Very lower wages to keep the employees. You must know rightful people to get promotion. There is still nepotism going on within the company. Not always rightful people for the rightful position. Thats why i looking foward to find another fair company with better salary offer.

I enjoy working with people and in a busy enviriment..i like challenges..and also i deal with very dificult customers..but they make me strong and have confidence abot what im doing.I have a very good relationship with my colleaugs.

Excellent training
Pick is always busy but that is not problem for me sometimes employees do more than what is expected as we know pick n pay as big store in retail we daily deal with different people in providing a good customer srvice. I have learned woh to interact with people on daily basis and how to keep calm all the time and stay focus . I enjoy being at work taking orders with respect but the most challenging part is where customer are angry regarding the store issues like prices act and shorts and overs

Good communication
Its a good because we work buy people we have to be patient and make sure that customers always right .i learn how 2 listen to other people and focus on my job olways enjoy my job nd have some trip with other employees
