Excellent learning curve

I Malibongwe Matewu from Spriutview, Katlehong. I have experience of more than 5 years, I worked for Clover Headoffice as a transport planner. Currently, I am working for Pioneer Foods as Transport expeditor and planning. I have a good relationship with my colleagues, clients, and transporters. I am working at transport department and I have learned that logistics and transportation is not an easy operation due unforeseen circumstances on the road and sometimes loading sites take time to load trucks or maybe consider taking a lunch or team time while we have urgent loads.

Pros: Increased flexibility
Cons: Long hours working

Excellent learning curve

I have a very good relationship with coworkers. Day to day work, gives me more experience. I have a good relationship with my boss. There are lot of challenges everyday, but as a hard worker, I manage to achieve them. Sometimes I do them with my colleagues as part of a team work.

Pros: No promotion
Cons: Long working hours

Excellent career growth

Pioneer foods as a company is the best, great career growth structures, excellent salary packages, however all these depends on your line manager, which I feel was unfair. Systems never lies, and can not be Bais..

Great company to work for, and have received 15 years work experience within sales and marketing.

I am currently unemployed and have recently relocated to Eastern Cape due to relocation of home. I am currently seeking new key account opportunities within the Eastern Cape region.

Pros: Relocation of home and seeking new key account opportunites.

Great leadership opportunities

Good learning opportunities , great people to work with , typical day of planning organising and materials and staff, set up equipment for production processes organise raw materials for production success. Most challenging part of the job is to ensure that daily production targets are achieved by proper planning and utilisization of staff and materials .

Great experience

Its a tough industry to work in more at work then at home. A typical day would start of on a high and would only finish when I would leave the premises. Wonderful relationship with colleages. I've learnt alot over the years working and one thing i can mention is ,If I start something no matter how challenging it my seem, You can rely on me to complete it .

Pros: Gain a lot of experince in different fields
Cons: Long working hours, one person doing 10 people's work

I have learnt so much from my co-workers, they have had me under their wings.

PiPiPioneer Foods is a great and big company in the food inudtry. However, they underpay their employees and their management style is not one of the best.
