IiTgevis no pressure you di your work a day at your pace but before the day ends you must give a report of what you did. I am a team eorker i like to share ideas with my co workers. Ive learnt a lot at randwater.working with different characters made me to grow and learn. I enjoy sharing ideas and descussiob about the job given. Excellent learning curve
Being part of rand water wasn't bad since i didn't work with them that much coz i was sent to do my on job training at the correctional services, which wasn't also bad but kinda dangerous working where there are inmates but nun than that i had fun. I've learnt a lot about electrical maintenance since i was the job i was doing

Excellent learning in manual systems.
Limited in terms of technology, open for non-compliance due to lack of systems that are available on the market. Lovely working culture though there is a lot of red tape when it comes to implementing changes.

aRand water is a good company which takes good care of its employees, the culture of the company is improving year after year, employees are angaged a lot also with willing indivisuals the relationships are good . There are lots of learning opportunities as the plants are diverse

Job description
Duties • Monitor water quality during purification process, to ensure compliance to SANS 0241 Class 1 and Rand Water standards • Supervisory of labourers and plant equipment • Safety and Housekeeping of all plant units • Communicate with supervisor efficiently and effectively about water quality matters and pumping • Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports • Sample analysis and jar test

Education is key
At my current employer I have learned a handful and cannot complain as I took it as an opportunity not to be missed. Obtaining my diploma through their study grants was one of my highlights over the years. I've met some vibrant people over the period from instatenent till now. The culture there is zero tolerance when it comes to safety and very attentive to employee's wellbeing. A great company to work for, filled with activities and friendly people.

Cons: Not knowing what time you're going to knock off. Pipe bursts and leaks.
