Good working environment but can improve
A large water utility company located at the hub of the country’s economy providing water 24/7 to its clients. My role of Strategic advisory work and providing leadership to the development and execution of special programmes provides an opportunity to view the company holistically. Most of the time is spent working from home and only visit office or sites when it is absolutely necessary. I work closely with the board, executives and colleagues across the organization; Key challenges include transformation and modernization with the organization being more than 100 years old. Despite the challenges of working from home and recent COVID pandemic situation, the company remains highly professional and good to work for. Its footprint allows for growth both nationally and internationally as a recognizable company globally.

Cons: Too old an organisation to making it difficult to transform or change easily
