Excellent learning
we working at maintainance department my relationship with my mentor is fabulous he love to work with me daily and we learn lots of things in electrical part even though its under maintainance. the most challenge in this job its when you have to design electrical drowning and apply it without any one because they were training us to work alone and what I enjoy most is a challenge.

Unsafe working environment
I am placed at the department of correctional services to do my practicals. The exposure is there ,but the only problem is that I have to work inside thousands of prisoners. I feel unsafe working with those people.other than that, I have learnt installation of distribution board ,house wiring , fault finding on electrical circuit , maintaining pump house and substations.
Pros: there is no opportunity of promotion since i was granted an opportunity to gain experience as an electrical artisan.
Cons: i like working overtimes

Good learning
I have gained knowledge in solving complex Engineering problems. I am able to handle big projects and manage them as well as to deliver on time. The company is well established organisation which offers learners a good training as well as a good leadership skills. It offers a brought knowledge meaning it does not focus into single measure it goes beyond by offering learners more knowledge an how to run their own patents if in future one has it.
Pros: I am hard worker and I respect time in my work

I learned a lot in the industry and is a very good company to work at
Doing fault finding,aligning of vbelts and coupling,overhauling of a pump and gear box,replacing of meters,taking of meter reading every week,doing maintenance,checking levels of water in the reservoir,working on pipe line,doing pipe fitting

Excellent working culture
I love working at Rand Water however there is not much growth in my department. I must admit that I have gained a lot of experience I the 9 years I've been there.
Pros: Lots of construction projects therefore you gain a lot of experience.
Cons: No room for career growth
