Excellent learning curve and a very hard industry to be in. But it is rewarding
A very hard rewarding industry to be in. Technology is changing every day and you must be on top of your game to survive. It builds charater and improve people skills daily. Enjoyed working in a FMCG industry. A lot of advantages in learning and develop my career.

Cons: Long working hours as well as during Easter and Christmas weekends; corporate enviroment; unions involvement in day-2-day business; competition from smaller bakeries

Wonderful learning curve, expantion and career development
My day begins with a small greeting and a prayer with my colleagues and a cup of coffee. -then capturing of the previous day's diesel usage and kilometres. -checking of vehicle daily check lists and compiling a maintenance sheet for the mechanics. -ordering of needed maintenance spares. -update attendance register book -I have leaned to be patient, in this job and I have leaned that fights don't necessarily solve problems but can sometimes escalate it unnecessarily. -I renew vehicle licenses and have leaned the whole registration process from scratch and this involved solving a lot of problems which makes my day exhausting and exciting at the same time but going home knowing that I did what I had to do to the level best of my abilities gives me a restful night always. This is my typical day at RCL FOODS( Sunbake Boerstra) as a Transport clerk. Kind regards
Pros: To be honest, from where I am sitting I don't see any opportunities available because pensioners are occupaying posts.
Cons: Long working hours, some co-workers not being co-operative sometimes

An opportunity to work closer to home
I work 9 hours week days with 30 minutes lunch break I treat my co-workers as my own family I have learnt to be a team player, and that communication is vital Interacting with different people I very much love my job, however, the most challenging aspect of working here is the distance to travel from home in u Mlazi coming to Hammersdale on time to report on duty

Stressfull place
A typical work day - ever changing, keeps me on my toes, exciting, stressful What i hve learned is that i am able to adapt to these changes and i enjoy my thoroughly Management is approachable so work environment is pleasant My co-workers are amazing and i have learnt alot in the short space of time at Rainbow The hardest part of my job is that delivery is beyond my control but i strive to get everything on time all the time the most enjoyable is the satisfaction at the end of the day of a job well done

qualified fitter at rcl foods.got electrical experience.i do have my ammonia license.currently studying operation management at vasity college.working at rcl foods from 2009 till present

When there is work to do it is fun and there is much to learn
- recruitment is the main focus, especially of females and disabled employees, which is the most difficult because of the lack of applicants received and most disabled employees are always discouraged to apply to positions due to personal reasons - excellent relationship with colleagues

I've learned how to handle a pressure because working with a production is challenging.
Working with production is a very challenging thing because you have to meet your daily,weekly and monthly targets,ensure that you have the right staff to perform the task,monitor the usage of machinery,guide and mento the workers and always uplift them where is necessary.I have learned how to handle a preasure in different ways.so my main target is to get my job done in time.I have a good working relationship with my employers.

Is a big company in which i learn more of the thing.
I work shift hours ,9 hours a day and 45 hours a week. am a people person in which makes me friendly and kind to any one around me.Ive learn to focus a lot on my job than socializing during working hours. I mostly enjoy ending my shift without having complain from production. The most challenging is when we experience breakdown.

Quick learner 40 years experience.
Enjoy production process to run effectively and efficiently. Quick learner and enjoy fault finding and rectify defective equipment or faults. Like to challenge my self to learn more about equipment to improve productivity of machines and man power. Tipical day routine to walk plant to observe abnormal noises or smell and conditions of equipment Have a meeting every day with staff to discuss plan maintenance and prioritize jobs. This increase good comunication and work relationships.

First Work Experiance
Working in the RCL Foods Payroll as my first professional working experience was enlightening. Being exposed to monthly procedures in ensuring employees get paid in time, correct data has been captured and understanding RCL Foods as a holistic -perspective is what I have gained with my time here. However, the payroll department does not allow room for an individual to grow and climb the ranks. The positions set in place are fixed and people with vast years of experience has secured their positions leaving very little room for a new entrant to grow.
