Learning more everyday is what motivates me
Most of my responsibilities is to service machines that s been scheduled for services or if it breaks down. What inspired me me about the job is making new spares if it's not on shelf, that's where my atantion to detail take over making thousands of dollar spares, usually I work in team and that's a good thing because 2heads are all ways better than one
Pros: I believe when u give ure best at all times ure hardworking wound go unnoticed
Cons: Normally be cos there more than 1shift normal hours is required

Learning curve
Interesting and definitely a learning curve. Mainly deal with major maintenance but also work on improvement and stay in business projects. I also had a stint managing the engineering stores and procurement department as well as the technical training function. These both presented a challenge and rather interesting learning curve. My scope of work cut across all departments in the organisation and exposed me to the many different aspects of the business.
Pros: Never a dull moment
Cons: Very little opportunity for promotion

Receipting and receiving stock, Compiling and expedite stock on hand daily, Identify items min/max level, Check usage and compile suggested min/max levels, Follow up on outstanding orders, Compiling Photo catalogue materials kept on stock, Compare nil stock cards with nil stock register, Daily chemical stock count, Check store man audit trial daily and Daily cover storeman duty

Challenging working environment
As Processing Manager I start off early in the morning, between 06h00 and 07h00 am, review the previous shift’s production achievement and finalize the plan for the day. At 09h00 am I attend an ops meeting where I give feedback on production performances, waste, overtime and other critical issues on the KPIs. I manage just under 400 employees who are strongly unionized, we have very good working relationship and issues are resolved through dialogue but sometimes disciplinary actions are taken against those who does not comply. The working environment is challenging and enjoyable as I work with a very diverse team and the fact that it is a very fast moving fresh products – we make today for tomorrow into stores!

Learned a lot about the company
Im a very hard working person who's willing to learn new things on a field,and a good team player who loves working with people always trying my best to make sure that the job is done by the end of the day so when the company grows..we all grow with it.

Making errors on the OHSAct quoting make one to learn in an unforgettable way
A day is well spent with colleague's. Good work relationship with colleagues. I have learned time management and coping with pressure. I enjoy working with all stakeholders which broaden my thinking. I enjoyed giving advice's on the OHSAct and legal compliancy The most challenging part is as follows: The job is so stranous emotional draining with a lot of reports to write and a lot of interruptions and a lot of documents and reviews and a lot of follow-up meetings.
Pros: Team building, company offer free meal
Cons: No annual bonus, long hour no overtime

I manage a staff of 28 people and orders an equipment and manage the budget.
In the company that I work I am an assistant farm manager in a poultry farming , I manage a staff of 28 people and 14 poultry houses and 89000 birds including cockerels and I have to beat the budget and achieve all the aspects as a appraisal.
Pros: I want to see myself as production manager one day
Cons: Some time I work more than 12 hours

It's a repetition of what i basically did at my previous job.
A typical day at work involves capturing invoices and credit notes from our bakery at Nelspruit. I liaise with different personnel there based on the suppliers that they deal with. My relationship with my coworkers is a professional one. I try not meddle in people's personal affairs. Our main purpose is to achieve our objectives and meet them in the best effective and efficient manner possible. I have learnt to be very patient. Suppliers can be very rude and difficult at times. the trick is to be patient, listen to them and generate solutions to make sure that they happy again and continue supplying their services to us. I enjoy the flexibility, i can choose what time to get in and what time to leave, as long as i have worked my 8 hours and i have achieved my objectives for the day.
Pros: closer to home.
Cons: No promotion structure.
