Great learning opportunity
Attending to customer queries: walk-in, telephone and email clients. I had a good working relationship with all my colleagues across of levels. What o learned was keeping calm under pressure, always ensuring to get all information required before making decisions. What I enjoyed the most was the opportunity to learn new things from and about different departments, as well as having a client leave our offices feeling happy with my service. The most challenging aspects of the job were having to deal with very difficult and rude clients

My Job at the SABC was very fulfilling and i loved being part of my team.
My job at the SABC was very fulfilling. Because of the industry the environment was pressurizes and had its own challenges but we always made that our programmes go to air . During my stay at SABC, i have learnt how to deal with crises, emergency deadlines and work under pressure. I have learn organizational skills, how to plan my projects so they run smoothly and how to have fun while working. The relationship with my team mates were good. They knew they could always depend on me for anything and I assist. Its sad that I was retrenched as my job was everything to me and loved feeling like I can do anything.
Pros: my job was all pros....i loved my job and sad that the relationship had to end
Cons: there was no opportunity and recognition for me, no salary increases or promotions

Excellent learning experience
Have been with company since 2007 and have learned a lot. It's a stable environment I now need new challenge. SABC has been through some hard times as a company but still managed to deliver on its mandate as a National Broadcastor

Lovely environment to work in
The broadcasting industry is a versatile environment to work in, you have new challenges daily. The only challenge that steals ones joy currently is that there's a moratorium not to fill any vacancies so we are left heavily understaffed

SABC is a melting pot of diversity!! It is a true representation of our rainbow nation. My enjoy a good relation with my fellow co-workers as we always are there to assist one another. I have learnt a gret deal about television. The most challenging is deadlines and time management is key I am wanting to relaocate back to Jhb
