Co workers are very friendly, my immediate boss was great, I enjoyed being at work most days. A typical day is 8 am to 16:15, but some days I had to work late.

First of all I love insurance , I work one of the best companies within the short term industry . on a typical work day , I do various tasks assigned to me via system (inhouse) I need to ensure that I reach my target and obviously mind my quality which have a very strict criteria. I love working within a team because you get to interact with people that are different from you and learn from them as well as share your own experience and knowledge. Ive leaned to open minded and open to learning new things , related to my work and obviously keep pushing myself to keep gaining more knowledge. I enjoy the buzz , the interaction and the drive that I possess to be one of the best within my space and to become a recommended name. the challenging part of my job is to meet daily , because each policy/client is different and special caution needs to be applied on the each client

Admin managemnt
I am a people person very dedicated and perfectionist. Hard working and always willing to go an extra mile. Would like to work with such people as well. Professional environment and great company. I enjoy solving problem and being good in my job. I have learned a lot from the companies I have worked for. The short course really prepare one to face any challenges

A typical work day, provide desk coaching to 2 insurance consultants every week, do evaluations on issue, complex and maintain normal amendments policies, including specialized policies and brokers appointments. Attend calibration meetings. Assist consultants with questions on excess, clauses, underwriting. Do callibrations amongst QA consultants. Give feedback to insurance consultants regarding progress of QA. Meet required targets. I assist the consultants to the best of my ability, also give regular feedback on their progress, include tips on the evaluations. I enjoy providing training and assistance most. Result is what drives me and seeing the constant improvement in the consultants. What I enjoy most is assisting and explaining the actual evaluation forms and what the different questions entails.

More exposure to career growth
I am an enthusiastic individual that has great interpersonal skills which allow me to work well within a team. Therefore, I believe that am a suitable candidate for any appropriate task that may be in sync with my qualities and talents. I do great in a team however, I produce excellent service on my own. I am a very friendly person and doesn't limit myself to the resources I have ,I believe in improvisation in order to fulfil my duties or whatsoever.

Great Client Experience Exposure
My typical day includes assisting client's with the registration of claims as well as updating of current logged claims. I hold a excellent working relationship with my colleagues as we share the same purpose of delivering a good customer experience as well as to ensure we work as a co-hesive working unit while at same time having fun During my time at Santam, i have gain valuable knowledge on my interaction with customers as well as the important element of Teamwork. The experience I have obtained has been the most enjoyable. The most challenging aspect of my job is dealing with irate clients. However through the knowledge and experience i have horned the skill of interacting as well as facilitating an irate client

Great learning opportunity and exposure
A typical day entails: Analysing and interpreting financial results on the subsidiary and group management accounts Processing journals on JDE and HFM (accounting systems) Preparing reporting pack for the parent company. Calculating the investment build-up per investment asset category and reconciling the balance to the trial balance. Calculating and proving the transactions and balances on the management accounts. Processing journals Preparing the subsidiary financial statements. Preparing the supporting documentation for the audit. Liasing with auditors. Coaching and mentoring junior staff members I enjoy the analysis and intepretation of management accounts. Team work is important and always strive to help collegues and promote cohesio I have learnt a great deal about the insurance industry. Handling large amounts of data and intepretating it.
