A true exposure to the insights and learning of an insurance giant
I believe that there are amazing characteristics of Santam and that they are strong leaders in the insurance industry I have gained solid insights into the industry. I have grown from the brokerage experience into the insurer frame and gained a solid balance in the insurance industry there are however areas where i would like to see things happen faster in reaction to innovation and opportunities.

The favoritism is real
i am really out of wordsand unhappy with the treatmeent of stuff here as it now looks like you need to be a certain religion to be recognised let alone treated fairly as an employee. ive heard of teachers pets being only in school however now bossespets have become fashionable

Great Exposure
A typical work day is working 8 -10 hours depending on the work flow of the day and striving to meet my target daily. Above all, my motivation on a daily is to do better than yesterday and prove to myself that each day I wake up, a better person. My relations with coworkers starts with sending or receiving a positive motivational message, helping each other throughout the day. This has taught me that working with a team lessens the load of work and it is always a relief to know that when one struggles another can assist and visa versa. As a mother, I mostly enjoy spending time with family. Working with externals gives a lot of pressure on an individual, meeting target and producing quality work can be challenging because you do not only represent the yourself as an individual but the company however, it is doable.

A company with good values and great working environment
Collaborative environment,the boss listens to pur ideas and input. The whole team works together to achieve the desired results. I do feel appreciated in the the work I produce.

New adventure
It is a wonderful company fillies with lots of friendly, helpful people. I have learned to deal with alot of different personalities which I enjoy the most. The most challenging is the compliance of different properties as well as the the relationship managers and technical managers. Excellent learning curve
Broker calls with clients details and request for a quote that will be suit clients needs,different needs for different clients which makes it a challenge to be able to satisfy all clients.team work assist in the arreas where there is uncertainty.speaking to different brokers and hearing out about different clients is priceless

No human culture
Well the company is a great cmpany however managment not as great as they simply do not care for their consulta Hours are ok the consultants are great but you are not allowed to communicate with each other unless its an absolute must.nts.

Excellent learning curve
When I joined Santam, I adopted a team of 4 which consisted of a Business Development Consultant and a Book Transfer Specialist as well as the Referral Specialist and her Assistant. I had to appoint a First Line Manager for a Contact Centre as well as 4 Service Centre Consultants that will be servicing the Brokers that I will be bringing forth to our space. Typical day at the office, set up meetings with potential brokers, attending to any issues that may arise from the existing Brokers. Attending meetings within the office from other departments that are assisting my department on a daily basis. Checking on the welfare of each and every employee in my department. Checking up on how far we are with Potential Referral Partners.
Pros: Very good opportunity to bring revenue to Santam that has been very difficult over the years to get to
