Great company to work for
It's is a good company that looks at empowering and growing employees,the interests of the employees is priority.safety is number one and well being of workers is also in the forefront.there is less gap between management and field workers.easy to access top management and level of transparency is excellent.

Managing a services department
Managing a services department with a good mix of old machines and new ones has been really interesting and also a good learning curve. I enjoyed having to balance old and new technology as well as having to tap into the intellect of my very experienced subodinates. I was intrigued by the planning and having to revise maintence strategies, planning as well as having to geographically expand the current infrastructure capabilities. In short, I love being challenged and challenging those that I lead.

HR Practioner,
I provide a HR service to 1400 employees, for three shafts.I have a team of four HR Officers and one HR Administrator. at the beginning of the day;I also have a meeting with the stakeholders . The most challenging aspect of my job to apply some change management process and ensure that the system benefits the organization for the better and result to high morale and productivity.

Job description
was acting as a foreman responsible for a department of 20 employees maintain machinery according to standard, replace and remove faulty machine parts, carry out maintenance as per job card requirements perform fault finding, identify and fix breakdowns Ensured good housekeeping, ensure working material is readily available and adhere to safe working procedures.
Pros: ensuring that daily production is reached safely at all times and the equipment is ready and available for the other people to produce safe

Go with the flow
Good company to work for. Perks are good but salary could be better. The difference in salary between an Millwright and a single trade is 8% and just R300 in market. Safety is only an priority when management sees it as a concern, but when people on the floor raise safety issues it's not taken serious by the supervisors, only when management raise it it will be taken seriously.

II wouldn't have stayed with a company for 11 years if it was bad, i wanted to further my knowledge and therefore left sasol to study further. I dont know why this is nessasary as everything is already in my CV

Excellent learning and promotion, perfect operators with more production
At Sasol mining we consider ourselves as perfect operators becouse we know well about any major harzad that found underground eg: flooding Mathane explosion Electricity Fall of ground and many more including their control
Pros: they use my accountability to recommend me for promotion

Team player
Senior Millwright working on production, working on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic machinery,maintenance on both electrical and mechanical engineering equipment, attending breakdowns and foreseeing all safety standards are met.plan maintenance schedule and organise team to perform different tasks, Reporting back to management.
