Seniour Mechanical Engineer

typical work day includes: -Talking to clients and solve their problems on their equipment and machinery -doing engineering design and modelling -manage a team for a project. My relationship with my co-workers: -welcoming because we work and assist each other wherever possible. What have I learned and continue to learn: -Always listen to the others no matter how qualified or not so qualified they may be because they too have a point to put across which might be very vital for the solution you may be looking for. -Be pro-active and never get caught lacking on your project deliveries. What do I enjoy the most: -Engineering on its own is never conclusive, the challenges are never ending and everyday you learn how to better improve. The most challenging aspects of the job: -Dealing with clients, customers and colleagues of different nature, background, careers and cultural backgrounds is always interesting. it teaches one to be humble and accommodative.

Pros: I'm a Snr Mechanical Engineer in our department, one step closer for a prinicipal mechanical engineer.
Cons: Unlcear requirements from the clients.

more growth in my career

I`ve gone through 4 years Millwright learner ship and qualified. I`ve worked with a team gained more experience pass on my knowledge as well. I also have my responsibilities where I work as an individual handling breakdowns I know my strong and weak points. I`ve worked at planning department were I work on SAP, excel, scheduling maintenance

Pros: New environment, Empowering myself
Cons: Diffent culture and Standard operating proceeders (SOP`s)
