My typical work day involves managing the scheduling, planning, and budget. Shutdown planning and execution. I have a very good relationship with my co-workers and other stakeholders, some I have very good friendships with. I have learnt a great deal in my current and previous roles, advanced Microsoft skills, emotional intelligence and many other skills. I fell in love with production planning that I feel I would like to develop in this field and carry on working until retirement. the most challenging aspect is predicting the future. But as is with many things experience is the best teacher.

I am a hard working individual with a drive in learning new technologies.

To do electrical maintenance on motors, vsd/vfd's and other electrical equipment. Do inspections and regular preventive maintenance on all electrical related equipment. Work with production personnel and other trades. Organize

Pros: You get to work independently and expose to challenges

Learn every aspect of business.

A typical work day would be managing transporters and ensuring all the exports and exports are going well. And my relationship with most coworkers was very good. I learnt emotions do not work well in an organization and enjoyed working I en.With different stakeholdrsand learning more about their contribution into the chain..

Excellent learning curve

I did a learnership at Sasol Global Learning. I was a plant operator, where we monitor our product from the inlet feed until it's a final product. We take samples in between the process daily and test it with analysers and put the results on each one Log. We monitor the preassure differences of each equipment and log it as well. If there any defects on the plant, we identify, tag isolate the equipment, call the maintanance department to work on the defected equipment.

Cons: No learner is guaranteed a permanent position
