Diverse exposure to all aspects of engineering, business processes and various unit operations

I have had exposure in the project environment ranging from idea generation to execution and start up support. This includes design and optimisation of existing processes. The business aspects of running a process unit, the quantification of risks and mitigating steps. Working in diverse multidisciplinary teams, and also with ECs ans various other service providers.

Pros: Various career paths to navigate
Cons: I cant think of any to be honest.

Team management skills, strong problems solving skills,

Long working hours,good training skills,team management skills and strong problems solving skills,big company with lot of employees,12 hours working shift, good relationship with co-workers, learned strong management skills, strong problems solving skills,,start-up and shutdown of plant.

Pros: Great opportunity of promotions, opportunity for studying, employees carrying,good courses arrangement and good salary
Cons: Long working 12 hours shift, 4 by 5 shift

Execellent graduate programme

Working at Sasol was a great experience, I learned a lot about engineering applications and implemented multiple shutdown projects. I had a good relationship with my co-workers as we were a small team. I enjoyed learning about new equipment and modifications that we had to implement, with unexpected challenges throughout the projects. The most challenge was running a project and having to push service providers to meet the deadline, people's management is an important skill I had to learn.
