Learning new things everyday, culture and people's behaviour
It is always good to work for a company that is eager to let you grow as an individual, allow career development. A well developed individual is like a well oiled machine and a happy EE is a productive EE. I'm one person who is so grounded, respectful and that alone helps me to have a great relationship with my colleagues and people in my class. I have learned that if you value someone opinions and give them floor to express themselves than you will have a safe and productive Team, and I enjoy working with other people and meeting targets. I hate shortcuts and people who takes shortcuts.

I am a quick learner and is flexible to work
Maintenance on Draglines, Shovels, Drills, WiFi and Radio equipment I have good people skills and get along with all different people no matter the race or sexuality I have 20 years of experience as a Millwright and 10 years of that is also as a Technician. In all the time I gained allot of experience that can value your company such as problem solving both in the industry and human relations. I have a very strong sense of fault finding and rectification. Also preventing breakdowns as I can think outside the box. It doesn’t matter how deep or high. I enjoy new challenges and solving problems

Dynamic work environment
Dynamic mid tier mining company. No day in the office is the same. Work in an open plan environment across multi disciplines (HSE) and assets (coal, manganese and aluminum). Great discussions and cooperation

I enjoy new challenges in each and everyday and working with different people with different skills and different thinking . Setting the goals for the team, a very nice feeling when these goals are achieved and also a very good test of character when they are not achieved and going back to the drawing board and understand why the goal was not achieved

Excellent learning experience
ny I was provided with the opportunity to learn about basic Plant operations, i was exposed to safety, health and environment responsibility training, developing Standards Operating Procedures and had exposure in the failure analysis. I developed a vital character of working in a group and during this time I'd say a sense of leadership skills was developed.

My company Experience
Working in the mining industry is great a man dominated industry. working on different projects, with different people, I have learnt a lot. Improving on my presentation skills, analyzing data and coming up with solutions. I work well with my co-workers from operators to GM level, I have projects that I do that include operators, which teaches you a different skill when it comes to communication and also working with managers. I enjoy the fact that my days are not predictable, do a lot of analysis for different managers and superintendent, (everyday is different learning curves). The most challenging thing for me is reporting to different managers.
