I am looking for a job as a control room operator

Ensuring the safety of the bank assets and personnel controlling the movement of the staff and visitors in an out of the cash centre Monitoring of CCTV cameras Escorting contractors and visitors into cash restricted areas Enrolling visitors and issuing them visitors cards Using biometrics sytems

Pros: Been working at standard bank for past 14 years and its good company to work for with lot of opportunities , internal trainings

Pays attention to detail

My typical day at work would be to arrive at work at least an hour before my starting time to log on, get myself breakfast and to sort out any outstanding emails. My relationship with my coworkers will never be a boating day but a happy day as I stay alone and love human interaction. I’ve learnt in life that you choose your own destiny and hard work always pays off in the end.

Great exposure to Banking products

I honestly don't have much to say. It's a great company, the culture is amazing. There's still a huge white male dominance in management which is demotivating.

Good at analyzing numbers

I love working with numbers. Interacting with people from all over whether young or old. I work well with teams and as individual.What excite about my job is to get the clients what they want and make sure that they are satisfied

Have 4 - 5 years experience in IT

IMy day to day work is to call and receive incidents and request to go and assist the users with IT Support on their laptop and desktop When i work in a team i left my mark . I enjoy working in team but i also enjoy working independent and like to meet deadline and complete my job at a given time I like to work with laptop and desktop pr any mobile device like ipad , cellphone.

Obtained a lot of experience.

I have learnt how to manage and lead. How to handle pressure. Go to interact with customers and stakeholders. How to run a branch. How to handle queries and resolve them on time. You can not do it alone, we have to work as a team to reach our goals.

Pros: Great brand.

A life to remember

I have worked for standard bank for 14 and six months doing mostly sales,dealing with customer complaints and queries, have been at reception for 3 months,customer liason officer .I have learnt to be quick and remain calm and being persisted and mostly people orientated and professional at the same time.I have also been doing Quality Assurance projects for not less than a year in the banking industry. Working for the bank made feel as part of the bigger world ,met different personalities .I enjoyed being part of the team ,their craziness was part of my daily job.

Cons: 8 hours or less depending on the business
