During the course of 2018 I have been part of a learner ship programme in health and safety

During the course of 2018 I have been part of a learner ship program in health and safety pertaining to the construction and mining with Stefanutti Stocks in conjunction with Tjeka Training . The learner ship was structured for the duration of 12 months and consisted of 6 months theory and 6 months onsite experience.

Very big company with great challenges

Managing all health and safety related issues. Managing three companies each with its safety officer. Compiling weekly and monthly reports and submit to the client. Compiling weekly and monthly man hours.

Learning new things as a fresh graduate

Its normal just like any other workplace..My relationships with my colleagues is professional,I have learnt a lot of things that groomed both my career as well as a person.I enjoyed having to do what I was hired for and being appreciated. The most challenging aspects with the job is when you have to work under pressure to submit a lot of tenders in the same day but its doable.

Stefanutti stocks was a great company to work for. I have learn to be courageous, and have a desire to accomplish everything to my best level of excellence. I was in charge of the work force recruitment and this boosted my leadership style

Excellent learning curve

I conducted safety stand downs as well as induction training for new recruits. Assisted in incident investigations. Compiled safety files and documentation for work permits. HIRA. Daily toolbox talks Safety audits
