Working in the IT Department of Sun City can get very busy on a daily basis and even more busier on weekends during checkin of guests at the different hotels. There are many different Vendor suppliers who have systems running on the resort and we as IT DEPT. do 1st line support for all of them. Its a great place to learn about Legacy, Gaming, Hospitality architecture and applications all at once.

I am willing to learn and develop myself in HR career.
I my department we work as a team and we assist each other which I enjoyed. I am used to my job and I enjoy it but I have to move on now. I meet different guests on a daily bases with different attitudes. Since my job is to monitor all their actions as well as the staff, I experience different characters that behave so differently. I experiencing guests cheating on our games. Some they place late bets and some still the other people's bets.
Pros: The is no development where I work. I've been doing the same job for almost 12 years no promotions.
Cons: I don't have problem working long hours. I've been working 12 hours shift all these years.

I am a fast learner and I adapt fast to a changing environment
I have acquired skills amongst others such as emotional intelligence, Planning and organizing skills, I Work well under-pressure, Work well individually and in teams, I am Competent, My computer skills are Excellent my Microsoft office capabilities are in advanced level being able to work with all the packages of Microsoft office. Query solving, above average communication skills, Good inter-personal relations and deadline driven. Apart from my degree, I have built upon my interest in this field in a number of ways. Recently I have worked at sun international finance department when they needed extra hands.

Great learning experience
It's a well organised environment, with lots of new challenges everyday, a good learning curve, a great environment to learn about different kinds of people an d be able to adjust to their personalities. I enjoyed all my time there.

Was mostly great
Very tough working under a CIO that spends 5 min on Google and then knows more about your job than you do after 14 years of doing it. Vendors are being chased out of the building if they disagree about how to do the job the they are paid to do.
Pros: Good opportunity to study. Mostly good benefits
Cons: CIO makes it a nightmare to work there. There is also no known benefits in telling your staff you to do the jobs that they are qualified to do.

Awesome industry
Working shifts at an average of 8hours per shift. It overwhelming as you have to stand up and walk around the casino floor to assist the guests with machine faults and enquiries. I am a people's person so I enjoy working with different personalities from guests to my colleagues, my relationship with them is incredible

Exellent learning curve, great interpersonal interaction with clients and management
The company is amongst the top five business operates in the industry offering the most competitive services. It is very transparent and has a very easy and comprehensive settlement policy that settles transactions instantly. The business operates out of their various gaming halls in their various hotels spread across the country as well as manages a very comprehensive online sports book.
Pros: Great Team, professional approach to business ( very uncommon in industry ) ,transparent, rewarding
