Being an Hr administrator for a huge company like tigerbrands can be hectic considering that it has more than 10 000 employees. daily struggles can be meeting deadlines especially when there is a constant inflow of work however i work with the best team, we help each where we can which is how and why our work gets done regardless of how much it is. i have learnt alot about the corporate but i have learnt even more about myself. i am capable of doing things that i never could imagine i could do. the 1 thing i enjoy the most about my job is that it is never the same thing. we get different challenges everyday which is why the job could never have any monotony. the most challenging aspect of the jo is the pressure that is on s to make sure we have sent things on time so that people can be paid correctly.

Cons: every mistake yo make will always come back at some point.

Working as a maintenance coordinator
After completion of my trade test in July 2003, I practiced my trade at Sans Fibres Bellville where I was employed as a Maintenance Electrician until March 2009. After workings as an Electrician for 9 years I was promoted to Maintenance coordinator at a well know food manufacturing company in the Western Cape where I manage a maintenance team consisting of electrical and mechanical staff. My current duties include planning all maintenance schedules, ensuring maintenance schedules are adhered to. Managing engineering stores, Purchasing of spares and engineering equipment. I am also responsible for food safety compliance and training , Risk control and contractor management, ensuring all vehicles onsite are complaint and staff are suitably trained to manage associated risks . Managing engineering and manufacturing budgets and assets.

Food quality student
• Daily process checks, parameters, mass balance, recipe check accuracy, sieving inspection, metal detector checks, production control sheet, conducting corrective action • Daily shelf life inspection • Daily report to manager • Weekly hygiene inspection, deep cleaning action and corrective actions • Pest control and cleaning monitoring • Investigation, conduct corrective action and trending consumer complaints • Conducting monthly PRP audits • Coordinating monthly food safety meetings and follow up on corrective action • Analyze, conduct corrective action and trend micro, water and flour testing • Weekly Invocom meetings • Invoice Processing • New recipe trials • Competitor bread analysis • FSSC 22000 Audit preparations • Conducting Induction training to staff • Conducting Food defence training • Conduction Waste management training • Conducting cleaning and sanitation training

Good company to work for. JSE lised top 40 company. Good industry to be in. You learn a lot and have excellent exposure. Challenges are experienced along the way.

Working for albany grommed me alot as a sales rep .
In a typical work day I am out on the filled checking our customer and looking for new opportunities. I have a good relationship with people that I work with, and the once that I am supervising we get along and they know when its time to work. I have learned to prepared effective action plans, schedules and participating in marketing plan design. I have also learned to supervise established customer accounts and to be on the trade every now and then to establish effective working relationships, and to maintained relationship with the company's customers. I'm enjoying bringing new customers to the business. I always try to have a good way of approaching the situation and make decision that will benefit the company and the customer.

Learning curve
Running Invacom sessions and delegate staff to their daily duties. I always encourage co workers to equip themselves academically in order to improve their working skills. I have learn to delegates other employees in the absence of responsible manager and better way to prepare for internal and External Audits. Achieving recertification's of external Audits. Having to many findings ( Non-conformances) after Audits result .

Cons: 5 days per week and weekend if neccessary

Review of CCP / OPRP's Conducting Management Reviews Conduct and facilitate audits Training of shopfloor on PRP'S Implementation of the food safety system and adherence thereof. When shopfloor has an understanding, maintaining and controlling of the system becomes effective

I can work on any program as the account payable clerk.
I like working at Tiger Brands as i get more exposure working with different people internally and externally i am a go getter type of a person. I always plan my work so to work smart and professional. I enjoy working with figures especially the reconciling part of the finance department. i did not know Oracle when joining Tigerbrands so i had to learn from the other team on how to go about it. The only challenge at this job is that when you are told NOT to pay the supplier at the agreement time as you have to come up with the relevant excuse's.

Good worker
Leading a team of team people.ensuring that more than 65000 employees are paid accurately with no errors. Liasing with HR department .Often have to work long hours to finalise the payrolls.i must check all movement on weekly and monthly payrolls, that includes all new appointments, promotions, devotions, disabilities, terminations and transfersi Aldo check all input and ensure that employees are paid accurately. I check all leave girls that are processed. I check and authorise all new banking details and I also verify if we don't have duplicate accounts.i do recons for the financial executives and for the accountants.i also do Medical aid recons
