Amazing experience

Working as a lab tutor has been extremely fun .I am able to help the students in the lab, help them with the equipment and the experiments being done.I also help them prepare a lab report and how they should write it.My relationship with my co workers is great, since we are all students. My lectures are my seniors in the labs.I have learnt a lot being a tutor and my love for science has also increased.

Pros: Great learning experience
Cons: Early mornings

Forces you to think in another way.

University forces one to think outside the box. It shows you to what extend can you push yourself mentally. It was a great opportunity to meet new friends that will last forever.

Pros: Learn a lot about a specific field
Cons: Cost lots of money to study

Great working experience, I learnt a lot.

A typical work day would consist of me attending class and afterwards tutoring students during my consultation hours. Marking was tedious but easy to do.

Pros: Flexible working hours.
Cons: None

Pros: I've learned a lot and it was a pleasure to for the University
Cons: 40 hours per week

Big change

Being a student has been a huge learning curve. Moving away from home and not having my parents there with me everyday was hard. The biggest change was learning that no one has to check up on me for me to get things done. I was able to motivate myself enough to study hard and work hard and do my very best at everything.

Pros: Getting an education
Cons: Lots of hard work

Excellent learning curve

Even though I gai ed a lot of experience due to constant being belittled, I can no longer stay at the company. In a balanced work place a person can be the best they can be however when the person is not happy in the workplace and cannot raise issues to management, it becomes difficult.

Pros: Gained a lot of skills. Opportunities to better myself
Cons: Bad management. Belittling behavior
