Great customer service experience.

I am looking for a working environment in which I can grow and share the expiriences I have attained from my years in call centre. Working shifts has also worn me out...I would really be awesome to work a straight-shift job.

Working in a hostile country

A typical work day starts at 0500 in the morning of to the car park to make sure all the vehicles get on task and there are no unforeseen brake downs that could delay the daily mission on hand. Talk to the team leaders on the ground to make sure there are no problems with the vehicles and to plan ahead if there is a problem. It is a hostile environment and you learn to think on your feet and to react accordingly, I enjoyed the camaraderie among my co workers it is like one big family. The most challenging of the work is to stay in budget and make sure you on target considering the environment you work in.

AEGIS have helped me a lot with the experience but I feel like it's time to go for greener pastures.i haven't grow for t past 2 years and I work very hard but still no growth

Good stepping stone

It's a good stepping stone to have experience in a high stress level call center. The management is good with lots of motivation and support for its employees.

I am a hardworking graduate (Diploma in Network Management in Information Technology)

I am a hardworking graduate (Diploma in Network Management in Information Technology) who just completed his studies from The IIE Rosebank College. The reason I studied this is because of how we as people are advancing technologically, managing of data, love is creation of systems and we have to adapt as the world is changing. I have also noticed how information technology brings about change and growth in the business making it more innovative and adaptive. During the course of my academic career, I also managed to created a website, manage database table and also create a virtual system. I had the privilege of learning how to create, manage, retrieve and updating data in a computer systems

TOP KPI Performer

Am currently working in a call centre (Aegis) Telkom Technical Support / Billing/mobile and Retention, assisting customer with reconfiguring adsl /Fibre, slow access, Line faults(Log Faults), intermittent connectivity, setting up emails, solving incoming and outgoing mail issues, Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues. Assist customers with their invoices if customers do not understand their bill I advise them with them with pro rata and how is also calculated this applies also in mobile and LTE services. In Retention I usually provided customers with alternative services while their service is down or the customer wants to cancel his service I always come up with an alternative or affordable service which the customer can use. Troubleshooting is what I do for a living and I already took it as my lifestyle, In Hardware/ Software I know everything thing that needs to be known as a Technician.

A well presented, well mannered and articulated helpdesk support professional with extensive experience of performing diagnostics and resolving a customer’s technical problem via telephone, email and one on one. Having a proven track record of successfully finding the root causes of problems, resolving them or forwarding suggestions for improvements.

New venture of work experience

The call centre industry is a very fast moving environment and you have to adapt fast and understand the concept,procedures and policies when dealing with customers over the phone. It was a great experience there.

Teamwork

I have worked two outsourcing companies namely Bytes People Solutions and Aegis Global which are both inbound call centers I have gained so much knowledge with working as a customer care consultant in both companies and my customer service skills improved including my communication skills. I have worked in various teams and I have seen how teamwork makes better,working with different people from different backgrounds
