Excellent learning opportunities

Definitely excellent learning opportunities. Typical insurance company I think, haven't worked in another to compare. I get along well with others and we dedicated employees. I've learnt a lot with regards to disability management.

Hugh pressure environment

Working in this position requires a strong will. We deal with large transactions everyday and cannot afford to make mistakes when processing payments. The environment itself is routine, however, it's ever-changing as well. One must always be prepared for sudden shifts into urgency mode.king

Pros: Always learning something new
Cons: Workload for one person can be too much as department is understaffed.

My job is challenging because I get to learn something new everyday, and exciting.

I am responsible for a portfolio of 36 funds performing the below tasks: - Preparing monthly bank reconciliations - Consolidating payrolls for different funds to deduct risk and make payment to insurers monthly - Preparing cash flows every 6 months to be presented to clients by the consultants

Pros: There's growth within the organisation
Cons: It's far from home

All in a day's work Working at Alexander Forbes has it's ups and downs , you get to learn about Tue insurance industry in many ways than one , clarity , simplicity , care and respect is important

Good learning journey

It good because we work shift. Management team are good and free with their employees. The company as a whole is transparent with everything. we have the following skills which I acquired as a contact center agent at Alexander Forbes, basic computer skills being able to send emails, Capturing data, I have telephone etiquette, am able to translate information so my client can understand and with that knowledge I know, I will be a valuable contributor to the company.

I get along with my co workers and works in a friendly environment. I love my job and the challenges is month end to make sure all clients are happyou. We work strong with TVF and POPI

Excellent Career

I am a easy to communicate with type of person. I handle pressure very well and ensure to provide excellent customer service based on the company procedures. I work well in a team enviroment,sharing of ideas in terms of improving the service level. I meet the expected KPA.
