A fast pace enviroment with deadlines and cut off times that wll keep you on your toes. I am currently working as most functions are interdependent with in the team members which required one to have a good relationship with team members to pay attention to detail.

Culture of learning, caring and growth
A typical day is made up of drafting contracts, engaging with new employees and attending to queries amongst other things. The team is like a family, everyone wants to see the next grow in their career. There's no micromanagement and there's flexitime (meaning there's no set time to get to work and leave). Results are very important, the work is more about the quality you present and the quantity of hours spent in the office. I have learnt how to manage my time effectively, grew my interpersonal skills (which I already had, great ones too) and how you need to own your own career. The thing I enjoy the most is the culture. Even though it's very fast paced with immense pressure it also promotes learning, caring and results which are key for any individual. The most challenging aspect is people not respecting deadlines which causes a ripple effect.

Life changing experience
My typical work day - Respond to Employer and Member Queries. Reconcile monthly contributions, invest contributions within a SLA (10 working days), Section 13A reporting. Request outstanding documents from employer. Raise queries with employer if found on schedule,issue new membership certificates. Issue monthly production reports to employer, query all nil contributors. What have I learnt- To be goal oriented, to put the best interest of our clients/customers at heart. To work under pressure, to be able to deal with people of different caliber, to treat customers fairly and equally. What I enjoy - Coming up with solutions to problems or issues raised by our customers. Seeing our customers happy with the service rendered to them Challenging aspects - Being unable to solve certain issues. Dealing with tough customers

Im a hard worker self motivated, self starter, team worker
Working at Forbes has been best of my 4 years I have grown so much. such a great staff to work with, although is very busy at times but because of the skills that I have am able to work under pressure. I have learn so much as I started as an Receptionist, Switchboard now I was appointed as Facilities Coordinator, where I have to deal with the maintenances of the building and the contractors on a daily basis. I enjoy working on the facilities cause is very challenging at times as I love job that will take me out of my comfort zone. Dealing with the colleague and workers is very challenging at times where they really need things to be done on there own way.
Pros: We had a graet oppotunities of growth within the campony

Excellent learning curve
Determining enforceability of Maintenance and Divorce orders Comparison of wording in relation to Pension Fund Act, Divorce Act, Maintenance Act and AF procedures. Directly engaged with member, non-member spouse, attorney, the court and/or maintenance officers to obtain verification on intention on unclear clauses and/or varied order details. based relationships with internal clients, external clients and other teams within AF. Ensure all reporting is delivered as per agreed timeline Ensuring the Legislative and SLA/SLS are being adhered to Assessment of risk so as to ensure the elimination of E&O’s I enjoy being in solving complex legal problems and understanding business decisions made in exceptional circumstances. I consider myself a professional but also a student as I love learning new things and expanding my knowledge in different industries.

Good learning experience
Onsite service consultant based at clients premises for 2 days in a week. â–ª Processing of; Medical Aid applications, Gap cover, New Born applications, Terminations â–ª Liaising with clients and ensuring all client queries raised are resolved. â–ª Monitoring and follow through on outstanding member application forms, as well as monitoring of tracking report. â–ª General administration, filing and updating on U-Drive for traceability. â–ª Drawing up check requisitions and calculating expenses for reimbursements. â–ª Maintaining client relationships. â–ª Working on silverpop programme

Good company to work for
Am working as part of a supportive team and can work well by myself. Have a very supportive and hands on manger which is what I like the most the most challenges are mare the client expectations, but working as a team we overcome those challenges.
