I am currently employed in the warehousing sector as a receiving clerk (data capture) and looking to develop specialist skills in this area and build a successful career, as I am hardworking individual and a good team worker, and have scientific solving problem skills. So I would grab at any opportunity to kickstart my career. As i reside in Gugulethu, Cape Town and I’m willing to relocates when the opportunity arise. I gained lot of experience about data capture and also improved my skills.

Repetitive daily routines
Repetitive daily routines the isn't much opportunity to apply your own ideas the environment and culture is structured probably to not change.. However it does build character in the sense that interacting with different people

Friendly person ,goal driven .I also like people who give me challenges .
As I started being a packer at checkers ,it has indeed taught me a lot .customer service ;where by I have learned that I should help with all that I can to assure that the customer is always happy at all times and that they leave the store satisfied. Working together as a team is a very good thing because one learn from the others . what I like about being a cashier is that we always had this challenge as cashiers and there was a voucher that one gets for best cashier ,I would get in almost every week because I knew I had in me. Contagious that is one my challenges.

Grocery assistant at fruits and veges
I used to work at fruits and veges department where I make sure products are fresh and transaction processing to customers. Key skills I gained is for customer service, sales and inventory control Software skills which a gained also in my career are Microsoft words, Microsoft excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft outlook

Excellent
Working with checkers is the great experienc and it been so wonderfull towork therw with the whole managment team as well with my staff, i have learnt a lot in this company and i have gain so much , lot of things i know it because of checkers. The most things i enjoy about working here , when the is promotiom or any other event that take place , you are given an opportunity to use your knowledge to come up with the brillaint display ,merchandising in other to attract the customers attention, of which am very good when it comes to display nd customer service. The most challenging aspect, when the big bosses had to come and visits the store ,it always gonna be challenging even thou you know you have done everything accordingly but it always challenging that why i have tthought my self to be always working not wait for work to pile up and do it on the last minte

Excellect communication skills
I have good communication with staff, able to solve problems working at checkers give me opportunity to learn how to keep a customer happy always,on how to deal with any angry customer, how to keep calm any angry customer, how to solve a problem for the customer most of all I've learned that you have to always makes sure that you always give more, What I enjoy the most working with people because I'm one person who is friendly always smile and always help where I have to. When it's come to challenges it's when you have to deal with the issues, like when any employee will complain about her/his salary that is when u have to come in and out to solve the problem

Good
At checkers I worked 9 hours a day from 11 to 8 and I had a good relationship with my co workers because no one had a position in our department,we were given new task or orders everyday. I learned to be reliable and to be honest and work hard and I enjoyed helping customers with sales floors.
