The expirience l will never forget.
I was a till packer and front assistant where l was always meet new customers because l was packing . Always you must respect customers because are the business and wethot them there was no job.l enjoyed to packed fir the couple because if it their time to pay they will ague that who will pay...that was funny.l learn a lot in my previous job the was always a new things every day.l was good to work there

The is no opportunity
Checkers it's a big company with less opportunity no growth. It's hectic job. We are working under pressure it's hectic and we are earning a little money

No opportunities, was exhausting to be available 24/7
Sad but true but some fmcg companies work like robots and we as workers are just a number on paper, all about if you have friends in high places and if they think you fit in. All i want to do is work to the best of my ability to satisfy company requirements, to put in my 200%, not worrying about ethics of race, gender or who dislikes who. we are a great Nation and i stand in my beliefs of work hard. I did not learn anything, and i crave to learn more in life if someone will grant me the opportunity. Great relationship with staff, sometimes challenging with senior staff who uses foul and swearing word towards me and staff members, i do love this company...but again sad about the fact that they view you of who you know and not your hard work.

I have learnt how to deal with customers and their attitudes and to be a professional employee.
Working as a Parker i have learnt that customer service is the care that customer receive before, during and after purchase and I know how to work under pressure,supportive team ethos on the floor helps to create a good atmosphere for customers.

I'm working on a very busy industry where you must understand every customers complaints
In my job i'm dealing with alcohol and its a very dangerous working depaetment where is highly and likely to be robbed. I learn't how to serve cstomers , dealing with their cmplaints and to cashiering also merchandising.
Pros: I learn't so many duties on how to run a store as a manager
Cons: We normally work for 8 hours per day which we work for five days to make fourty Hours

I learn how to communicate with other people, customer service
I'm a hard worker .. I can be a general assistant. I started to work at front end I was a till packer I think for 2months then I go to grocery I was a shelf parker for 5months then I got a promotion to be a cashier after that I was also working at kiosks cigarette count then I end up to be a money market clerk . After this job I got a piece job at Feedem, my position was food and cleaning assistant.

Well trained
I started as a packer at checkers. I Got an promotion to be a cashier . I was already got an experience as a cashier but they did train me to used their system they were kind . they taught me how to work with other people and how to treat the customers.

Excellent learning with managers
It was good to communicate with customers by greeting them and always being patient to our customers managers and stuff being applicable answering any queiries they may have

I have gained alot of experience the last couple of years working for them.
I have more than 14 years retail experience as a manager in the retail sector,i can work in receiving,front end service departments as well as sales floor,i was placed as 2ic for the store when the branch manager was on leave or weekend off.
Pros: They offered great learning and growth in the company
