Willing to meet new challenges in life

I am a person that like to meet challenges and learning new things time to time and valuing the customers first as they are the source of my income,And i know that they are the first people to be happy so that my company is always the best in the community and the whole region of south africa.

Government provide high sense of job security.

The environment is warm with reasonable working hours and good relations with co-workers. I have learnt to resolve conflicts and to be good with numbers. I enjoy employee wellness sessions. To keep up with busy day at office. That's all i need to say.

I am working on recruitment and training as well as paying all Human Resource Development • Assisting with the development of training and personal development plans (PDP) • Administer the Department’s Bursary • Coordinate the development of basic and advanced training courses • Manage interns & learners • Monitor progress of interns and learners and develop quarterly reports • Facilitate the signing of bursary contracts • Capture of new applications of bursary • Implementation of Annual Training Report • Development of Departmental WSP Performance Management and Development System (PMDS) • Provide advice and market performance management and development system • Facilitate payment of performance rewards to qualifying employees

Correctional Officer

Ambitious and enthusiastic Correctional Officer with almost 14 years’ experience in the Department of Correctional Services. Proven experience as a Reintegration Case Management Supervisor, Monitoring Officer Case Officer/Security Officer, Security Administration Officer. My experiences include planning and organizing, security administration, access control, guarding escorting and investigation. I am also responsible for important function such as administration, employee's safety and implementation of rules and regulation. What I enjoy most is working with different people with different characters. problem solving and conflict management . the most challenging aspects of my job is gangsterisim within the correctional centre that may lead to fights and escapes.

Its a good learning curve to work at Department of Correctional Services ,the environment is huge,and working with different users and teams every day .No typical day at DCS, every day is different ,depending on the User's request and your planning for that day .We have a very good working relationship with my co-workers and we promote team work so that we can learn from each other .The most challenging aspect is when the User have an issue and they do not know how to define it because they do not understand the system and the other challenge is when there is Network problem .

• Manage the Skills Development Programmes and Schedules • Development and ensure implementation of the strategic plan for the Directorate • Responsible for the accreditation of the CTC • Maintain and sustain CTC accreditation Status • Responsible for the maintenance of SABS (SANS ISO 9001:2008). • Manage an coordinate Interns Module • Development of Training Policies and Procedures for the Training Division • Ensures the development of learning materials / Unit Standards are accredited by SAQA • Register learners with SETA and ensure compliances in terms of National Learner Record Database (NLRD)
