Very challenging
Core Curriculum Training of new recruits. Facilitation of Functional Training. Orientation and Induction of new appointees. Consolidation of Training Statistics, monthly. Compilation of Annual Training Analyses. Compilation of WSP and ATR. Establishing of MoUs with other departments and municilaties.
Pros: Good exposure on how Training works in government in line with Equity, PFMA

Excellent learning curve
I am at kevel 5 position and have a load of work doing inventory coubt, comiling and capturing the payments and receiots. Compiling financial statements and presentibg the. At annual general meetings. Doing bankings of huge amounts booking of the halls and make sure i counyed every booking correct. Handljng departmental gunctions working more hours than expected.

Good learning curve
The company was so amazing, love the team spirit. Head of the Correctional Centre was also supportive and also the staff. I really enjoyed working with them. Even to work with the inmates I did enjoy. I would say it's was the best best that I can also wish to work there. It's so painful that my contract has finish on the 30 April 2021 but I wish it's can be extended. ??????e company was tTamazing
Pros: Great environment I Really enjoy with the Department, it's so painful that the contract was not extended but according to me and the department they wish they can absorb us as we were 10 nurses for covid contract

Dealing with investigations, status reports and Disciplinary hearings from 07h30 to 16h30
In the organization I am working in we start working from 07h30 to 16h30 weekdays. My relationship with co-workers is very good because they understand my duties as well as my compliances in the organization so that the organization may function.What I have leant in the organization is that in order to progress in life and making sure that the organization sustain its dignity is for responsible employees to take their duties seriously by meeting due dates and be responsible and objective in taking decisions. I realy enjoyed working with people because it is an opportunity to sdvice and inform the pperople about the code of conduct and to follow policies of the organization to assist the growth of the organization.The most challenging aspect is when management interfere with duties which are scheduled to be done by some one, e,g when dealing with investigations or disciplinary procedures then management give instructions about what should be done to the alleged transgressor.
Pros: Due with my hard work and perceverence I was promoted to Senior Correctional Officer due to dedication I displayed at the work place, and that made me to continue to be positive and objective in what ever I do.

Good experience
There's top much work load month ends. My relationship with my co-workers is very good, they teach me alot everyday. So far i have office administration as well management human resources admin at large. And i enjoy being kept busy with work on my table. There only thing that gives me a challenge is that there no one who is able to check my work coz everyone has got something on their desk..

Excellent promotion opportunities
I enjoy liasing with officals from different business units who supplies me with information to write articles for our external newsletter. I adjusted very quicly from the tourism to the justice environment. i guess its becase communication is the same, the only difference is the service/product we have to sell. I also enjoy profiling the work done by our offender (prisoners) who have been rehabilitated by the management areas (prisons) in preparing them for the outside world. The only challenge is that we cannot have pictures of the prisoners who does the good work for security reasons.
Pros: Vast promotion opportunities
Cons: The are no flexi time, we all start at 07:15 and knock off at 15h45
