A typical day usually starts with a staff briefing about activities that have to be done for the day or in the future coming days. We have a family-like relationship with my co-workers in that we have our arguments some days but overall we work as a team to take our school further and further. I have learned so much in the during my years there from the staff - being the youngest staff member has led to me constantly getting advice from my co-workers on how to better myself both professionally and personally. That is also the aspect that I enjoy the most - that I'm getting wiser everyday. The mbiggest challenge we've had recently with new management has been the lack of communication with the rest of the staff about up and coming activities or changes due to the pressure of covid-10.

Good learning curve
I strongly believe that working for Department of education will not just help me enhance my skills and knowledge, but will also empower me as an individual. I have a burning desire to utilise my knowledge gained over the years of working and studying towards my qualifications. Furthermore my persona sets me aside from other candidates. With my innovative characteristic of being flexible, a team player, performance driven, a time management orientated, an ability to work under pressure, professional, customer/client service and willingness to learn new technology, warrants my involvement to bring about advancement and improvement to the entire operation of Company.

Great opportunity to learn new things. E.g. i have learned how to use SA-SAMS.
I am an all round worker doing different kind of work., from admin clerk main tak typing, filling, photo copying and supervising the school Garden to working as an assistant teacher helping to teach Mathematics and Natural Science. It is a great opportunity teaching these subjects, i enjoying helping my learners.
Pros: Great opportunity to help learners of grade 4 to 7 with maths and Natural Science. It's also a great opportunity to show case my skills and knowledge, which will increase my chances of getting employed.
Cons: There's lot of job to do and 8 working hours feels like it's not enough.

Professionalism
We have a very good relationship with my colleagues. We delegate and help each other. As the first person you see when coming in I have to be presentable and professional at all time and go the extra mile in making sure a client had been assisted.

Learning curve
I have acquired good interpersonal and communication skills. Communication skills, Team player & client relations. Exceptional Interpersonal & presentation skills Telephone etiquette verifies invoice. Collection of RLSO1; RLSO2, Sundry Invoice and consolidate them. Time management, Organizational skills, Task & people orientated. Computer Skills: Microsoft Packages, Internet.

Excellent
A work day really would depend at which time of the year sometimes it got very busy sometimes not. The individuals I worked with were friendly and always willing to assist. I have worked as a Technical Assistant for many years respect everyone and inthe job aspect I worked with computers and the software program. Challenges were no personal growth always doing same thing.
