Iit was a good opportunity to me to show how smart I am and use full importance I am to the company as well as to achieve success with my business and also it was great experience to work with international professionals and I learned a lot about what is good and important for being an operator in food and beverages industry

Everday is an adventure
Working with a diverse group of people, you learn something everyday. In a customer facing environment no two days are the same. Time management is very important to get through all your commitments. KPI trackers are daily motivators to succeed and reach targets.

Talent management is good.
Great company to work for, cultured through diversity and ability to open doors for junior staff, great brands. Hats off to the top execs for the way they protect livelihoods and salaries during the pandemic
Pros: The company is shaped by diversity and the company has put in place measures fo protect jobs and livelihoods, job security is also top of mind for Distell.
Cons: The cons are more of a people problem than a company problem

Problem solving, variety and quick thinking is what I enjoy on a day
Problem solving, variety and quick thinking is what I enjoy on a day to day basis. Logistic in the border sense is where I learned the most and build relationships with my co-workers. My co-workers became like family members and I knew I could depend on them as much as they depend on me. I learned very quickly to think out the box to solve problems. Mistake it can happen to all but it’s how you solve the problem that matters. And in that sense good customer service also reflected. Customers knew they could call me and the problem will be solved. I might take a while to understand but it’s because I analyze things to make sure it’s done correct. I am in my element if you challenge me and keep my busy.

Interesting and very much needed exposure to the FMCG industry.
A review of a previous day’s plans and a view into incoming day’s plans is start to a typical day. Relations with co-coworkers are very important as working together as a team yield more output for the company. I have learnt to be resilient and give my all in all that I do,not everyone will know everything .Challenging aspects would be not being able to do your work whenever you want to due to limitations of some sort. I work and when I’m home and feeling bored I want to work and if I don’t have the tools to do so,then it becomes very difficult ,I always want to be 1 step Ahead of the rest.
Pros: Work opportunities will always be available and great company to have worked for.
Cons: Far from home,making total commitment to the work not easy.

Great company to work for
Distell is one of the best companies to work for. They have good benefits. We have a good working relationship with my coworkers but sometimes we have differences. The only reason Id leave Distell especially my site is due to lack of growth and development.
