Excellent learning curve and good support structure

Assisting all edcon stores with updating information on the system assisting with soft ware issues such as terminals scanners and doing follow ups on logged queries

I've gained great knowledge and experience

I was working 5 days a week shift I rotatated from each department to the next Aquired training from different managers I had good relations and developed friendships with co-workers I've learnt to work under pressure and to be diligent,to help where there is a backlog

Well, i start my day by coming in a litte bit earlier so there is no need to rush, done all bankings, admin, and go thro the day work, meeting with the guys concerning the targets, where we at regarding the figures for the month, pray n start the day on a positive note. Handling all customer queries, my monthly reports

Good

It iaitit was normal working days and my relationship with my co-workers was great. I have learned a lot fro from the company n have grown. I ejoyed my work until I got retrenched. The most challenging part of the job was I it kept me on my toes n I had to do my tasks always on time although I managed.itjust a normal workiit ng days

I joined EDCON 3 years ago and have been promoted to Mnagaement in the last year,

A typical work day is from 8 to 4 We have a balanced work team comprising of Business Analyst, Risk managers and project and change managers all working on the same conveyor bely. The relationship is quite good. In order to complete a project every single member in the team is important. Completing/implementing a project that bring profit to the company. To get the team to adjust to circumstances and adversities

Pros: Great opportunity to work in a well oiled machine.
Cons: Double shifts

Great place to work at!

Great company to work for however operational risk challenges remain due to the size of the company . Federal model poses a danger in terms of segregation of the 3 layers of the business.
