I love a team work and so far I have learned a work ethic

I love to work as a team work and I'm also willing to learn and work over time, the most things I have enjoyed is to given the opportunity to run the store and been a stock room control, what I have learned is respect, work ethic, leadership The most challenging that I have faced at work is communicate with customers at their own languages

Career growth

It was very demanding but also challenging. The flexibility to approach very people within the organization for information as well as assistance. The challenge of meeting deadline even when unexpected issues arise, staffing, system changes or suppliers issues that are equally important. Being able to get together with your colleagues as well as staff to chat up on the day and talk through concerns.

Excellent learning

Working at edcon was really nice, the experience I have gained with them it's was alot because I started working with them after my matrix, I gain experience on how to be a good leader, do interviews, planning, and most of all to work in the store at their biggest store

Excellent learning and development environment

I am a Divisional Customer Insights Manager for 5 Divisions within the Edcon Group (Rewards, Cellular, Contact Centre, E-commerce and Financial Service), with over 20 years of experience in various portfolios in retail management. I have the ability to adapt and affect change in the environments that I operate in. I am passionate about developing staff to work independently and as a team, while taking accountability for their decisions. Meeting the needs of the customer is always the driving force behind my working culture irrespective of the portfolio that I may occupy. Edcin was a great company to work for people were Nedcin was a great company to work for working hours was great people were friendly and lauds resy to help whenever we needed assistance the pay was great our mangers were great

I am a self-taught individual with over 10years of giving exceptional customer service

I’ve performed duties such as organising food numerous occasions for staff members, managing of petty cash, being a head cashier and recently being selected to be a Financial Services Administrator. Teaching others how and what to look for in terms of seeing a fraudulent ID, Passports, Receipts, Proof of Income and Bank statements in numerous times.

Pros: Given an opportunity to oversee new canvassers and being the stores financial services administrator
Cons: Stoct taking and mornitering canvassers to pitch new business to clients

Great people and learnings.

Great olace to work. Balanced lifestyle and ability to be your own personality. Staff are friendly and always willing to assist.. The culture os amazing and so are the company staff discounts and sales.

Cons: Not much room for promotions because people dont readily leave the company
