Working at eskom has taught me alot. Always working to meet deadlines. It has taught me to on how to be a team player.believing in my self . This was my first job but i learned somuch.

Happy Mokoena exceeds expectations in the role of a sales associate. I adapts to change easily, works well under pressure with a positive attitude and is detail-oriented. I goe beyond the call of duty by seeking out and following up on additional responsibilities, and contributes frequently to department meetings. I am an active listener, manages his time efficiently, demonstrates professionalism and is always conscientious about the quality of his work. Although i works well independently, i would benefit from additional team-building skills.

Exposure to management
As someone who has worked for Sasol before, I have been exposed to big companies where safety is prioritized, prior working for Sasol, I served in many companies as part of in-service training,to name few Afriscan ,Vdan construction,Cross Moor and Yimpi projects ,I worked on water and sanitation,storm water system, parking and access roads and road rehabilitation.
Pros: Exposure to even more civil engineering works
Cons: Adverse weather conditions

My Review
Eskom Rotek Industries is an employer of choice and it is a very rewarding company to work for as compensation is tied to performance and it is a dynamic and robust environment with talented and highly skilled and knowledgeable individuals who are friendly and kind. I have learnt to work and smart and resilience and the most challenging aspect is the tight deadlines and being thrown in the deep end.

Good to start at a company like this, just to get your foot in the door
I have learnt a lot from my direct line manager regarding the use of the SAP system of PS and MM which we utilise each day and I would hope to continue to use in the future. I love working with people who also can work great within a team, who can reach the ultimate goal challenging aspects of the job would include communication within a organisation is frustrating, which would hamper to complete a job effectively and efficiently.

Days of my professional life at Eskom Rotek Industries
Typical Day at Work: Daily Planning Session with the Team, review previous day activities whether they were success or failure. Relationship with co-workers: We are in a Production/Project related Environment where time lines to activities is crucial. Roles and Responsibilities Stakeholders (Engineering, Production/Projects, Warehouse, Procurement, Logistic and Finance) are clearly identified. The relationship is mutual What you have learnt: Understanding of Business Need and how Materials Management fit in /support that need What you enjoy most: Pressure of delivering good service to Production/Project Most challenging aspects of the job: Procurement Department in terms of service level to Materials Management (Warehousing)

Iam doing safety job,safety procedure,Toolboxtalk,Approving Risk Assesment ,Attending safety meetings,walking on the plant doing hazard identification,mornitoring employees onside if they are doing jobs that they are safe always,Issuing ppe,Arranging Safety files.

Excellent communication
I have work in a Plastic Company called SRF in KwaZulu Natal and I have experience in Sugar,Chemical and Eskom indusrty. I have a S2 Mechanical Engineering and a Trade Test wich I obtained in 2010 at Umbani Training Centre in Durban.
