On at typical working day we work with a lot of financial transactions in an area that is mostly dependant on the flexibility of the staff as we have to be able to fill each other's posts. I've learnt a lot about financial planning, investing and most of all the control of finances and it is by far the most enjoyable thing to do because you not only learn about the work environment but it also contributes to your personal development. The most challenging aspect of the job is the pressure that comes with having to meet different targets on a monthly basis.
Pros: Great place to network and build relationships with clients of high profiles.
Cons: Long working hours of which includes weekends.

A day in the shoes of a banker
Banking is a highly pressurised and demanding environment.Clients demands have to met on a daily basis and there is no room for poor service. High sales targets have to met on a monthly basis as performance is measured monthly. Working in this industry has molded me into a very strong and assertive being.I have learn't that when working with people's monet there is no room for error. Accuracy is key. The etire experience in banking is exciting as everyday is a challenge. I am faced with difficult clients,complex queries and credit issues which have to be resolved. I believe that no is too big as there are many solutions.

Good learning experience but want to grow outside the banking industry
Helping customers, matching products against customer needs, resolving queries,sourcing leads for the sales team.processing journal entries and daily reports.

Excellent learning opportunities
I am currently enrolled with the University of South Africa for a Project Management & Administration Higher Certificate. I also have experience in Customer Services, working with people & solving queries. I am able to identify the relevant stakeholders (Internal, External Clients), build and maintain relationships with them within the outlined service level agreements. I have the ability to begin a task and follow it through to its completion. I do have computer literacy which include MS Access, MS Word, MS excel, MS Outlook, MS power point and the internet. I am able to compile reports on tasks using the Microsoft packages listed above. I have a good understanding with customer service center matrix. I have brilliant administrative & interpersonal skills.
