I perceive myself to be a person who is self-confident and reliable. I set goals and try to the best of my ability to achieve them. I always strive for success. I work well in a team to accomplish any task. I’ m a team player, patient, perseverant, loyal and hardworking and will be an asset to any company. I’m willing to walk the extra mile to meet deadlines and achieve goals. I have very strong organisational skills and the ability to learn new procedures in a very short space of time. I have been arranging events over the last 12 years and arranged/ coordinated/ managed approximately 125 functions to date.

Excellent leadership skills, excellent systems knowlwdge of banking

a typical day at work would be to priorities my daily duties at start of business. my relationship with my co-workers is that of an open door policy, knowledge sharing, the go to person and treating everyone like they matter and contribute to the business. i have learnt on how to manage and deal with conflicting situations as well as leading a diverse team of consultants. i have learnt that showing interest in the growth of people with in the business is a contributing factor to the success of the team and the business. i

Pros: the on great pro is seeing a consultnat grow into a position that they worked for. i have gained a lot of banking experience and knowledge. i am flexible and adaptable to any environment.
Cons: i was required to work till 6 and 1 saturday a month.

Excellent learning curve

FNB is a great company to work for, training and knowledge about banking is quite broad, in terms of the different products, risk, compliance, customer service, sales and retentions. I enjoy the team work and that we all work to achieve one goal, whatever the challenge may be. The most challenging aspects are when you have people being negative and you need to remain focus on what the goal is and not allowing the negativity to interfere in the given task. Working hours are okay, except for working on a Sunday and a full day on Saturday 8hrs one week, 9 hours the following week.

Have NQF Management for Contact Center

I have been working for the bank as national specialist for cellphone banking and ewallet services and providing efficient customer service thru telephone and emails an was first action resolver of queries and escalations an did administration and data capturing. An I am also do take supervisor call if when needed

Very Innovative Bank

Great culture and people but no work life balance. Innovative, very professional and tech savy environment. Everything id automated. Lots of online apps for employees, strong owner manager culture.

Taught me how to Strive for excellence in every

Pressure all the time to excel. Slacking is a big NO. Strict. Ever changing requirements, so must always be ready to do new things, tasks etc Rules and Procedures are followed to the T. Does not pay very well compared to competitors who require less effort. Very Long Hours

Multiskilling and functioning

In the morning we open the branch with a security, and security checks to make sure that is safe for other staff members to go inside the branch. Prepare cash for the tellers from the main safe. We help with reports of yesterday transactions(opening of account,issuing of cards to customers) to double check as part of compliances and if procedure was followed. assist with authorising for big balances when trascations are processed. Balance treasury at the end of the day. Assist with forex if when forex consultant is not in the branch. We do cash checks on ATM, Forex, Tellers and safe custody. We also do alarm testing every month as part of administration.

Excellent learning curve

I got to start from ground up and it was not easy but I'm glad I was noticed and given another position within the company.I learned a lot about the banking sector even had the opportunity to brush up on the skills I already had and at the same I developed new skills.
