Good learning platform

I've learnt of lot of things at FNB mostly within the Administrative department because we did new things every day we tackled different problems as I'm part of the Quality assurance team we have to come up with solutions of how to fix errors within the department. and we work as a team to achieve a common goal, I mostly enjoy the team work and the brainstorming sessions that we have.

Pros: Great opportunity of multi-skill
Cons: long working hours and weekend shifts

Dealing with different customers daily

I'm enjoying working for FNB, that is why I'm still working for it. If I get a job outside FNB I will still implement experience I gained, especially on customer service FNB wisely taught us on how to treat customer fairly and I always gave it my all, all the time and my motto, is that customer is always right and customer comes first. When I put focus on something I make sure that I execute it. I had wonderful experience with the company and it has tough me a lot of things as I have grown within the company and I loved working there as the company supported me very well.

Pros: Training: Banks are well known for having well-trained staff so whatever your job role, you’ll be given the skills you need to do the job and many of these skills can be transferred to other industries should you decide to move on.
Cons: banking is no longer the safe option for a career, as was shown by the crash in 2008 when several of the biggest Banks have been shedding jobs and closing branches ever since.

Hard worker

I have learned and gained a lot

Customer service is the order of the day,making sure that good service is given daily and customers are retained.that in then gave us more customers because of word of mouth from the customers web already have.going an extra mile where necessary and doing things by the book.sacrifice lunch hours if and when we are busy that's another way of keeping customers happy and knowing for sure that they will come back for the quality service we provide

Pros: Promotions are possible if you apply and there is a vacant post
Cons: Month end is always the busy and we work harder,and compromise our lunch hours
