I have been working for this organisation from the way 1st May 2017

This time i have positioned myself and learn as much as possible to enhance my perfomance in my respective decision and services daily.I'm a good team player helping my teammates in reaching team targets. I have learned to do my daily targets and exceed when given a task. I enjoy assisting and making clients happy with their queries on daily basis. I find it challenging when dealing with foreign clients if they dont understand (english)but lalways refer for assistance.

Pros: My track record is clear proof of this and passionate and incontinues need for personal growth,living and understanding value
Cons: If it's required to work long hours and overtime im always available to do so.

Excellent opportunity for learning about banking industry and products.

FNB as it is well known for being an innovation champion is a best place to persue a career within the banking industry, this as the opportuniy for learning is key and the is no seniority. Great place to work as each day is a challange. The atmosphere is to die for, filled with different activities to keep staff or employees motivated, and the is a open door policy. As an administrator this all helps a lot especially because in my line of work interacting with different department's is key to get the job done, the key hear being to always put the interests of the client first. In this fast paced environment one has to apapt and always ask questions in order to be the best in delivering work of the highest quality. One has to be ethical, effective, accountable, helpful and innovative.

Pros: great opportunity to learn as you are exposed to all the greatest minds in the banking field. Great work environment, great food, great benefits altogether. perfect working hours too. and the dress code is not an issue as long as it is appropriate for work.

The Typical, and not so Typical of my work routines.

A typical work day at eBucks would include going through Spira's (existing testing admin tool). If I am the lead BA on a project I would hold a meeting with the relevant BA's in which they could table issues they are having, give feedback on progress of specifications/ Analysis. My input would be around guiding and keeping the documentation side of things on track. Post these sessions I will move onto, documentation of, or analysis for: BRS (or component UML portions for inclusion in) FRS (My team does both the input BRS and in turn the related FRS) Presentations design for Walkthroughs or Exco (Update on progress and or Concepts or even business strategy) Certain days would include JAD sessions or the planning thereof. Emails & meetings Co-workers- I have an excellent relationship with my co-workers, I am a people’s person and enjoy a laugh- I enjoy mentoring the junior resources.

Pros: The bank has massive scope for learning across so many different roles and teams
Cons: Lack of strategic direction within current business Unit (No unified goal)

Excellent learning curve

I have an ability to grow with a job, handle responsibility and build positive relationships with work colleagues at all levels. My present employer is very satisfied with my work rate, and I am confident that I can bring the same level of high performance to your company

from 8:00 until 8:45 i do my follow ups & perpare my desk. when the doors open, our main goal is good customer service & sales. We are like a family in my branch because we work as a team at all times to make the business successful.I have gained good listening skills & accuracy. I"m a quick learner & wirk well with numbers. i enjoy meeting new people & get excited whe i learn something new. I also enjoy solving problems. The most challenging part of my job is working long hours & working four positions at a time bacause i work as a teller, consultant, service advisor & admin support.

Job Stability

Job Stability is the key to this job. Business is not decided on signing the next deal to keep the business running. Keep the Bank online 24/7/365 is the number 1 task. So strict controls in development and change management. 3 Data centres online. Huge costs so Manage them, internal budgeting and billing. Multiple platform used, Microsoft, Linux, SQL etc so an understanding of these environments is key. very fortunate we do NOT have SAP in FNB. Goal is we should be able to do/work from anywhere. Dedicated desks is about to be faded out.

Cons: Long hours and promotions are few

Great exposure and growth opportunity

Work is very hectic given the importance of the project I'm working on (top 3 project for the bank) Great relationship with coworkers Enjoy the challenge of having to redefine the transnational banking landscape for FNB Also enjoy exposure and interactions with FNB EXCo executives Most challenging aspect of the role is to get all the role players to collaborate to find practical solutions that will make the project delivery easier

Work description

working in a banking sector you must prepare yourself to work under pressure, by helping clients with a large amount of money.making sure that you put a smile on them in giving extraordinary service.working with people in a way that whenever you are not around they feel your absence and i also learned a lot of challenges that i could face but i managed to overcome them through communication and i enjoyed

Excellent service that i give client

my day start at 8H00 until 5H30 that i enjoy a lot because I love working with client it teaches you to be humble to listen and to be patience as we meet different people everyday . I loved managing my staff as we one family we share ideas on how to grow the business and increase your sale as we works with target .I learn to understand to approach different situation in different angles , i have learn to understand the ups and downs of business , to understand your client are the heart of the business so as employees to run the day to day duties to make the business grow. the most challenging assept to was when I do not have powers to help client who need help seriouslyv. I work up everyday knowing that I'm going to make a difference in someone life and that fulfull my heart . because we service everyone working in your door regardless of race and portfolios they are all treated the same .
