Learning experience

my typical day i get up in the morning, pray go to gym and hit the road. Get to work read my emails and confirm my appointments for the day. My co-workers and i are a team we help each other reach company goals, we always have weekly activity meetings where we discuss our targets and objectives. I meet clients sell and network. I have learned to become a team player as well as a leader in the office. i enjoy helping my clients. The most challenging aspects of the job is client retention as the industry i am in has a lot of claw backs

Great for developing coding skills, particularly in VBA

Run BAU process twice a week to update essential market performance indicators. Develop dashboards giving a better view of the risk business. Update and manage essential calculation models. Work on projects at the start and end of the year requiring interactions with product development and IT. Respond to policyholder queries. I have learnt to code in VBA and Qlikview as well as managing key stakeholder expectations. Most challenging aspect of the job is learning to code on the different platforms available.

Contract work

Currently working on contract. - R740 p/hour with 18i am currently working on contract at R740 p/hour and look after most ly Cybersecurity related projects.0 hour month. Looking after deployment of Cybersecurity projects in the IT security space.

Friendly atmosphere

Great corporate culture and support

Daily base tasks

On a daily base I Supvisor 12 Advisors and make calls to them update them via whatsapp on their issuesed cases, submitted cases, clients assist joint call with advisor. See to client enquiry at the Branch office when needed for management intervision, branch administration, co-ordinator spreadsheet and interview process for new candidates or placements. Join Microsoft Teams Meeting 2 to 3 a day for workshop, Business Update, Compliance and COVID-19 awareness etc.

Pros: To be a Regional Head
Cons: Hours are long as I have to multi tasks 3 positions from where I am base (Co-ordinator, Sales Manager, Branch management duties).

Good Learning Curve

.It has its ups and downs working for an insurance company its not for the faint hearted, you need to have a thick skin and know what drives you to achieve your or reach your target, i have an excellent relationship with my manager and co workers. I enjoy the money. I've learnt how to interact with people
