Good opportunity to start your career.

I work a two shift pattern, this gives me time to plan for a day as well as to perform other tasks to the best of my ability at work. I am able to work independently as part of a team. We are all team players for us to meet our targets. There is less chances of promotion.The most challenging thing is that people are getting sick because of the environment. I have learned that safety is for all and it is very important. I enjoy performance bonuses at the end of the year.

Good

Lonmin is a Platinum Mine with 4 Occ Health Centres. Very busy Environment,well Equiped with Staff.Team work is our Habit at Lonmin.I have grown professionally at Lonmin and more Independent than before.I am able to make my own decosions when OMP is not around.The fact that I am an Occupational Health Nurse with an Experience in Safety make me so proud. The most challenging aspect of my Job is when we are Expected to Visit Under Ground to check if Employees adhere to Health and safety Standards.

Hard working person

FACE OF THE COMPANY AS I'M AT THE FIRST PERSON THEY SEE WHEN THEY WALK IN, BUBBLY, FRIENDLY,EASY TO CONFRONT, HELPFUL TO EVERYONE, WILLING TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE COMPANY AS I COULD,LEARNT TO DO OOFICE MANAGING JOB AS PART-TIME,IS MEETING DIFFICULT PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES AND I'VE LEARNED TO BE CARM AND TRY TO HELP AS MUCH AS I CAN.

Execellent Learning curve

My role as PA to the CEO and EVP was to plan their dairies and ensure all logistics were in place and that their needs were catered for in ALL aspects, i.e. pick up children from school, impromptu meetings with, unions, etc. I was also accountable for general administrative duties, which included capturing of data and information, typing, report writing, sorting and filing. I managed their incoming and outgoing mails as well as administrative procurement activities. I was accountable for good housekeeping, i.e. coordination of office cleaning activities and staff. Received clients when stakeholders were not available and ensured that client’s messages were relayed to the relevant stakeholders timeously. Investor relations, included handling queries/requests, scheduling meetings, liaising with different departments, and scheduling all travel arrangements. I have excellent interpersonal skills and have an aptitude to communicate with people.

I am a hard woker and also a fast leaner. I did hot commission and cold commissioning,loop checks. installed the instruments at and carlibrating them. termination of the panels on the mcc and junction boxes.
