Great opportunity to learn and enquire indepth knowledge about financial crimes
A great opportunity to understand the financial industry and the compliance requirements for such industry in depth. A typical work day entails investigating fraud and subpoena cases and any case involving financial crimes. The co workers are helpful and always willing to assist when the need arises.

Nedbank and the culture
A typical day starts at 6am and ends at 3pm if I am lucky. i have a diverse set of deliverables and therefore I don't get bored. I have 5 Project Managers providing me their updates on relevant deliverables and we are pushing the boundaries to meet timelines. I don't have time to network or socialise at work, which is something I miss, as I am now a robot on delivery. I have learnt that I can do so much in one day, and it is a good feeling, but I do also need time off which is needed. I love my days as I am driven and have so much to do, that I never run out of things but then I also don't get everything done on time, which can be frustrating. My challenges are with teams that keep changing their plans or simply not delivering, as I have tight timelines, and we need complete the work. I am a contractor so there is no growth for me, I come in and do what I need to and leave, but there is no politics or anything else, I just deliver.

Learning opportunities
