Nothing was excellent with my experience....

There os no Job security and buyinga a car can get you in trouble for finding another job after leaving this Job. You need to be strategic when considering your options.

Pros: Self management and flexibility
Cons: Working equipment does not make it easy to work and other espects of the work are self taught

Great introduction to the corporate world

A typical workday included,handling queries and providing support to relevant departments of entire organisation. All staff members work quite well together on all levels, from entry level to EXCO level. In my time at the company , I have learned to speak out more. Found my voice. Building my confidence levels. What I enjoyed most was communicating with internal and external service providers, in order to get the job done in time. Getting the co-operation from some staff members in order to complete my task was what I found most challenging.

Pros: Overall experience on all levels with all levels of business hierarchy.

Learnt a lot in a short space of time

I learnt how the importance of time and professionalism. I have mastered discipline and problems solving skills as well as to treat all people fairly. We all work as a team and treat each other as family. More than anything i enjoy helping people and seeing smile because of the help i have given. Its very fulfilling .

Excellent learning

Old Mutual is an excellent company to work for with many benefits that's provided. Very professional and my co worker are professional as well. Some management are incompetent and under trained left for their own devices. The structure within the department person to person is not the best but the company is great. I have learnt that you have to achieve your own goals. Meeting the people at the company has been great.

I'm able to engage with clients on a daily basis

Communicating with clients everyday, answering calls, switch boards, filling, servicing clients. I love my work but I need something challenging now. I work well with my colleagues, we work as a team and what I have learnt is that you need to be patient especially when dealing with clients because they're the reason why we are there. I enjoyed engaging with people because it makes my job easier but the most challenging part of my job is when there's no solution to the problem.

Excellent Learning Curve

It is a job reliant on your interpersonal relationships with clients as this is of utmost importance to the company as well as the client service. A typical day will consist of meetings and background admin as well as a lot of problem solving. Availability to clients is a key essential of this job and patience is the name of the game. Seeking opportunities and thinking more innovative is also a central part of service delivery. The most challenging aspect I will consider to be is the huge responsibility of advise given to clients and ensuring processes is running smoothly, without delay.
