I work along side an advisor where I would contact the client find out what it is that the client is interested in. I would provide the client with factual information about all of our products and explain to the client how the product is structured and how the client would benefit from the product. I would gather the details of the client to an extent where it would be easy for the advisor to execute the sale I am at all times professional when dealing with a client. The time that the client gets to the advisor it would be a manner where the advisor would confirm the details given from the client and give the in-depth advice on how the product is structured. I deal with many clients on a daily bases doing about 100 calls dealing with high income and low income clients. I give the client information to an extent that the client understands it perfectly then when it gets to the advisor it would just depend on if the product is affordable to the client.

Excellent learning experience
good working environment and culture management is very much supportive and always willing to help. Sales targets were abit difficult to achieve but we strived and fought every month to achieve and we did working as a team. There isn’t much growth in the company it takes a lot to finally be part of management or get promoted to being manager. There isn’t annual bonuses you only recieve monthly commissions based on reaching your targets individually

Excellent learning curve, team work
Work life is great they motivate and promote good working condition. They assist you in anyway possible and encourage you to grow your work experience and understanding. Co-workers assist you in growing ur knowledge and way of improving. Most difficult challenge is find clients everyday and setting enough appointments to insure that.

It a good company
Old Mutual is a good company it motivates people.But the is a lot of things that they are doing.Like having customers arrangements and plan for the next day.

It not bad at all but very stressf. This job requires a well determined person who is very organized. My opinion on the kind of job we do I think we being underpaid. ul at times

Opportunity to expand skills set
A typical day at old Mutual Finance is full of clients queries about their products, therefore servicing is mostly part of my job. Team leading is also part of my journey mostly with work reviews, system issues, approving mandates etc. A challenging day includes no productivity in terms of cross selling. A good day is when we solve client queries to their satisfaction. I enjoy the interaction with everyone and making other people’s days whenever I can.
