being a Financial Advisor requires me to be always active on my phone calls. I interact with the client, offer product knowledge and generate quotations. It requires attention to detail, a high span of concentration and attention, a team player with a strong internal locus of control. Good environment
God environment where you are left to work independently. However for actuarial employees to make progress there is only the exam system whereby if you get more actuarial exams you go up in role size. So your experience in these roles count for nothing which is strange considering that experience is the driving factor for 90% of roles

Not impressed at all
Currently my yreatest vhallenge is the relations between our branch manager and us employees, I have learnt to be patient in this job and punctuality hasbbeen one of thing i have learnt this far.

No opportunity for promotion. No beneficial increases. No back up staff for when leave is taken.
I mostly work with short term insurance which I love. I am an easy going person that can work with any kind of person. My typical work day would be following up on outstanding cases, taking in new business, new claims and providing feedback to our clients. I love my job. The challenging aspect of my job is sorting out claims. This part of the job is not always going according to plan.

Cons: No opportunity for promotion and bad salary

I am a hard working lady that manager a branch in Old Mutual. I am dedicated to my work and my team, i am hands on and believe in team work. I enjoy learning new things daily and currently looking for change. There's no experience greater than bieng exposed to what you really like, working with the people.
I work from monday to fridayat my own time and pace I really like my co-workers still communicating about life in general I have learnt that respect needs to be given to all types of people living on earth, no one is better than the other. I enjoy the feeling of working your own prefarable hours, even on weekends, at night, anytime i can work.
