Working at prasa is so nice because I'm treated with respect and I'm valued as worker
Prasa gives it's employees a chance to express their veiws regardless of their positions.if you really work hard you are to be promoted and also be given a chance to even study further.
Pros: With your hardworking and qualifications,being innovative there is a big room for promotion and also sending one to school to study further
Cons: There are normal working hours unless one is on standby

Being able to obtain a skill and use it effectively.
I Edward Machaka have started my training at transnet Engineering at 2013 as an Electrical Fitter.I did all my theory and pratical module in verious workshops of transnet,I have worked under pressure and managed to survive againet all challenges I came across.the part I have been enjoying the most is to build a high tension fraime which is the engine of a train,and quality inspector approves of it. My lowest point is to work with someone who does not want to do his part of work and expects others to work for him or her

Cons: Long working hours,reaching targets and insurfficient material

Hard worker
Dedicated individual who is very focused and deliver within time frame. I like to work in the organisation that is willing to train and develop it's employees to ensure that they become experts in their fields.

New experience daily
Im responsible for managing real estate and asset of PRASA and also ensuring the building support the primary objectives of the company. Ensuring that building match with occupants to serve for the required use. I have a great experience with my team and colleagues in all levels. I had learned that it important that buildings are maintained and kept in good order in order to provide an environment that enables employees to achieve their duties daily without concerns. Environment is everything. To keep up with complex challenges daily

It a wait of time to work for this company.
There are no opportunities. I have been in this company for a period of 10 years without any promotion. I didn't learn much. My moral is very low for a person who has went to school just like me.

I do planning , project management , Maintenance. PRASA is a company with many opportunities and it allows a person to attend training to improve skills and it assisted me in understanding and learning of the Electrical locomotives , Diesel Locomotives and Signalling

Its an excellent learning place
Work load is demanding No support from manager Long hours without showing any appreciation to staff Customer service There is a employee assistance program I enjoy interacting with customers The most challenging aspect is the lack of resources

In this company i have made allot of contacts and also learnt allot relating to the corporate world
in general I've had a very good experience with colleges and management, I've' had the opportunities to learn new skills, be exposed to new principles and practices. challenges I've experienced here is although I've learnt new skills and improved my knowledge of principles I've been keep on the same pay grade and my title has remained unshaped as well as my salary hence why i want to leave and try fresh at a new company.

PROVIDED A BURSARY
RELATIONSHIP WITH CO WORKERS IS NOT GOOD AS PEOPLE THINK THEY BELONG HERE ACCORDING TO THE YEARS OF SERVICE PROVIDED.NO PROMOTION AS JOBS ARE SOLD. NEPOTISM HAS TAKEN OVER THE COMPANY.MANAGERS ARE NOT EDUCATED AND THE EDUCATED STAFF ARE JUNIOR EMPLOYEES.
