Work load is demanding No support from manager Long hours without showing any appreciation to staff Customer service There is a employee assistance program I enjoy interacting with customers The most challenging aspect is the lack of resources

Electrical Apprintice

It was good working at prasa as a student because i learned a lot there. And most important it was so good to be a part of good company which offered me something which i spent years looking for but it finally came through them. Doing a apprentice there helped a lot because i was so blank in coming to electricity because i was so blank having only theory. the most challenging thing was we used be given attempt which you have to put in you mind that you don't have to fail one thing more than three times because you will be shown the door

Running own business, seek return to full time employment. Earning R1,2 m at resignation, 02/2015.

I do planning , project management , Maintenance. PRASA is a company with many opportunities and it allows a person to attend training to improve skills and it assisted me in understanding and learning of the Electrical locomotives , Diesel Locomotives and Signalling

My career objective is to work in an organization whereby I can apply the skills and knowledge of engineering practice that I have acquired throughout I’ am currently working at Passenger Railway Agency of South Africa (PRASA) I would like to work in an environment whereby I can be able to apply my skills and learn more about engineering field. I can manage my work with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively with people from diverse culture and always remain calm when under pressure.

Stable job no growth

bno chance of growth.very dead position the ritle you have when you start is the totle you leave withke job no growth prospects unfortunately even after years of corporate corporate corporaterience

Drive as you go

Since in the company, I have worked with 3 managers having the same duties. It gets frustrating because there is not work to do except time sheets and a monthly report. Taking minutes whenever there's a meeting and responding to the Manager's emails.

Cons: No growing oppotunity
