Excellend Problem solver
Well working with me in an office environment is exciting and challenging. I love to learn new drawing programs and sometimes I will put a mental challenges out for the team. Must say I prefer Revit Structural and MEP. My working environment must be clean, a place for everything and everything on its place. Before I start a Project, I will make sure all my ‘homework’ is done as the workflow is much faster and more efficient. I grew up with AutoCad Release 14. My father is a structural draftsman, so I guess I would be 2nd generation. I’m extremely quiet as I work but love to help out where I can, sometimes people take my silence the wrong way up. I DO NOT BELEVE IN SHORTCUTS, I refer this to the TEAM, myself included. If you need more information on myself don’t hesitate to call me on my mobile. Regard Chris Kruger

Compliance to safety
My daily functions would to conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and educate all on site instructions, inspect all contractors tools before work commences. It's important to educate and train safety representatives daily on site incidents, near miss incidents and risks associated to work. My ability to communicate with all persons is important to ensure all comply. Everyday is a challenge and I learn daily from others approach and disregard to safety, therefore toolbox talks are important. Daily reports are submitted to management to ensure communication is direct daily.

Work from home challenges
Currently I work from home doing maintenance work on web based systems for existing clients. However, I fit in very well in a corporate setup, as well as small company setups. I prefer doing contract work - I love to learn about new industries and types of businesses, and doing contracts gives me that. I, of course, love to work from home and with the lockdown we all experienced that. However, the maintenance work that I am doing now is not enough to support me. Working from home requires discipline, and I think that is what I learn the most at the moment. I typically will start in the morning doing any work for the clients if there are any. Then I will spend the rest of the day learning new skills by doing online courses and tutorials.
