Learnt a lot and grown did big projects

In the beginning i took a a gamble come to Proxa from JHB to Paarl did did small projects, got on well with the co-workers worked very hard, what i have learnt was plant lay out Design and piping principals did every thing, every one was very help full. what i enjoyed end plant is finished and running, interfacing with other clients civil to our own and equipment alignment

Pros: recognition for hard work, time off as reward
Cons: when unexpected missed important interface to not match

Fitter : Underground maintenance, plant, workshops.

I have been a qualified fitter since 2003. I have over 14 years experience in the mines. I have experience from being a workshop fitter, maintenance fitter, underground production fitter, underground maintenance fitter, plant fitter, also production foreman as well as plant boilermaker foreman. I can weld stig, Co2 and tig aswell as aluminium. I am a friendly, co-operative person who gets along well with others, I am hard working and always willing to help where I can.

Pros: Hard working, learn quickly
Cons: People with bad attitudes

Work environment hectic and very challenging. Relationship with co-workers and client excellent.

I have worked with Retail clients such as Makro, Massbuilt and Dischem. My work environment was hectic and challenging however I had a very good relationship with my co-workers and clients. I have worked with huge amount of data which was also very challenging. Never a dull moment at work. I have liked the teamwork the most.

Pros: Learnt a lot about working in a retail market with huge amount of data. Very challenging
Cons: Long working hours. Management support not very good and team work non-existing after we lost the Massmart contract .

Great experience running a National Mall

Great experience building and running a National Mall ,Being on Standby 24/7/365 is demanding ,hand pick and train your staff ,Develop policies and procedures on site in order to run the business without Injury to anyone ,work close to your staff ,know their needs ,happy staff is productive staff ,ensure all contractors and sub contractors are familiar with site specific policies and procedures ,all staff on site to ensure that no loss or Injury occurs due to misconduct or foul play

Pros: In being the decision maker helps when decisions needs to be made
Cons: Long hours ,always on standby - 24/7/365
